Anyone any clues what willhappen price wise to the 64 gb version?

Nothing :) It's not released yet and probably never will be now. Curious what HP will do with the stock they undoubtedly have though.

Doesnt bring much, I had wanted the op of th twitter news to provide source to stop everyone getting too excited. Price wise on hp website no change.
Type in "Touchpad £89" and you get a couple results.

(I would be posting links for these, but as a new user I can't)

You can order on though, probably just wouldnt be fulfilled I guess. Better stop this chat as I bet everyone is constantly refreshing after actual news no idle chat.

  • The latest on twitter is that HP are shipping all the UK stock back to the US to sell over there.

With everyone reserving them i doubt they will reduce them too much....Knowing the UK most suppliers will return them to HP instead of reducing them. I hope im wrong, i have reserved 3 32gig's at various argos stores near me in hope!!!

I read this, but Twitter is often flooded with garbage so don't believe it just yet.

Why 3? All you're doing is stopping others from being able to reserve one (like me).

I really hope they don't ship them back- it's not often I get a real bargain for myself- usually always for kids! Lol. I'd love a touchpad for my birthday :'(
Please remember to thank fellow MSE'rs
  • I've just placed an order via bundlebox site from Barnes and Noble. Total cost is coming $145 including P&P and taxes etc. Just waiting for the confirmation email now.

The German HP store has dropped the price to €99 - so it looks like firesale prices are coming to non US countries.
