HP TouchPad

Searching for 'touchpad' on the Staples website no longer returns any results, whereas it did twenty minutes ago!
The touchpad is still on Stapes front page and clicking on it gives the option to purchase. All very strange...0 -
ooh how do you know?

It's an overpriced sub standard model in a very competitive market. Most UK retailers are not going to be taking stock anytime soon as they will not be able to shift them, there are thousands of units in distribution partners in the UK so they can get them if they want to but they won't till the price drops and HP will try to keep the price high to mitigate the loss of revenue, HP have really damaged their credibility recently!0

Any idea what the link showed? There's a Harvey Norman about 10 miles from me that I could get to but NI is UK and not Ireland so not sure what effect that would have.0 -

Until I see a fully working Android port, I'll stick with WebOS. I was looking at getting a Kindle, but this will make a nice replacement. All I want it for is Web, E-Mail, and reading.
Of course, if Android works, I'll install that instead. At least then it'll get updated and I'll have access to more apps (should I want them.)0
