The latest on twitter is that HP are shipping all the UK stock back to the US to sell over there.

But they would have to open them put new transformers in them and then sell them cheaper for what they could over here. Hopefully just twitter rubbish.

at argos you can only reserve the 32gig ones, but you have to add it to your basket not just check stock :) PCWORLD are not allowing/have none in stores for reservation within 100 miles of me at the moment.

It seems that in the Fire sale countries it has all started @ 2pm so if it does start then it might be that time over here?!?

Although the HP tablet page is still down at the moment so maybe thats a good sign?!?
  • UK consumers are being (deliberately?) kept in the dark by UK retailers about any impending price cuts for the TouchPad – not very impressed.

Hi, any price reduction if applicable on the HP touchpad will show on the website.

Hi, I am sorry I am not aware of any price cut on this item. The current selling price is as advertised on the web.

Argos should be congratulated for telling us absolutely nothing. That's about as useful as an HP TouchPad.

Doh. Didn't think of this - I was only checking the 16gb. 32gb is available at my local store! Cheers for the idea!
  • The German site does work, just click buy directly from Hp store

(Site seems to be very slow)

Its probably not Argos's fault - if HP haven't told them to drop the price they are not going to sell at a £250 loss.

You seem very angry for some reason.
