But they would have to open them put new transformers in them and then sell them cheaper for what they could over here. Hopefully just twitter rubbish.0 -
Just Checked the German HP Store and prices havent dropped yet0

So what is everyone who doesn't have a reserved one's plan? Buy from amazon? Best buy online? I'm thinking Amazon maybe...0

at argos you can only reserve the 32gig ones, but you have to add it to your basket not just check stock
PCWORLD are not allowing/have none in stores for reservation within 100 miles of me at the moment.
It seems that in the Fire sale countries it has all started @ 2pm so if it does start then it might be that time over here?!?
Although the HP tablet page is still down at the moment so maybe thats a good sign?!?0 -
UK consumers are being (deliberately?) kept in the dark by UK retailers about any impending price cuts for the TouchPad – not very impressed.

Hi, I am sorry I am not aware of any price cut on this item. The current selling price is as advertised on the web.
Argos should be congratulated for telling us absolutely nothing. That's about as useful as an HP TouchPad.0 -
The German site does work, just click buy directly from Hp store
(Site seems to be very slow)0 -
I've just placed an order via bundlebox site from Barnes and Noble. Total cost is coming $145 including P&P and taxes etc. Just waiting for the confirmation email now.
Just ordered one to be delivered to my parents in Houston as we are visiting in a few weeks- $115 delivered! Thanks mike 007Please remember to thank fellow MSE'rs :beer:0 -

Its probably not Argos's fault - if HP haven't told them to drop the price they are not going to sell at a £250 loss.
You seem very angry for some reason.0
