My Brother-In-Law is National training manager for HP and he has just found out on Friday that they are no longer doing PCs, laptops or tablets. He has a conference call this morning so will keep you updated.
This is misinformation - they are no longer doing tablets and are considering selling off the PSG (Personal Systems Group) - HP are *not* stopping making PCs or Laptops, to do so would make the PSG worthless and impossible to sell. This was announced on Thursday to the markets in their earnings call and is there in Black and White for anyone who want to check:

I've reserved 918 of them, across various Argos, Comet, Currys, and PC World stores across the UK, just in case
(just kidding... I was lucky to get ONE reserved within a 50 mile radius of where I live in the middle of nowhere haha)0 -
My OH seems to think that if we've reserved one and they drop in price they'll sell our reserved one!0

Why would they do that? I see no logic behind it0

No nor me! He seems to think they'll have such a high demand that reserved ones will get sold and they will then say 'Ooops, must have been a computer error'!0

Are there any differences in the 16gb and 32gb other than bigger memory?I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know.
