Just had a text from CPW,
Hello and thank you for your HP touchpad order. Unfortunately due to high demand there has been a slight delay in processing your order. You don't need to do anything, we'll contact you within a week with more information regarding your order. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
So the wait continues0 -

Absolutely gutted, because I've been trying to order one for almost 2 hours, but the web page was down, and checkout kept resetting. It was telling me more should be available in the next 24-48 hours.
Just phoned HP 08452704142 and spoke to David advised that they are getting a consignment by Friday, but did not know the price.0 -

As Argos have now sold out in store and online, if they want to avoid killing their site as we've seen with every other retailer all they need to do is reduce the price and adjust evryones order accordingly. They get rid of their stock without taking down their site and losing customers looking to buy other things.
The alternative is that they keep the full price, everyone who ordered online has theirs sent out for delivery and if the price hasn't changed within a week they'll all be returned under the distance selling regs. At Argos' expense. Those that have been reserved will just remain in reserve in perpetuity as people constantly reserve them in the hope the price drops.0
