Not now they won't - they stopped responding more than an hour ago. Argos have been deeply unimpressive over all this, and still charging the high price.

You'd think they'd be capable of getting their act together by now.
Ive just called Argos customer service 0845 6403030 & got my reservation moved to Saturday. ;)
    Shop one - A vs T
    Shop two - A vs W
    And then repeat :j:j:j
    & now add - A vs S
What the heck A vs the world :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • i dont understand why posters arent going down the Expansys route....they have already said they will give you a chance to cancel your order if you dont want it.....sounds the most reasonable Plan B to me
I ordered from Expansys about an hour ago. The email said that the touchpads were on back order. Despite their claim that they don't take money until the goods are shipped, they have already taken £359.99 from my credit card.

I imagine they have gone home, the @Argoshelpers as it's gone 5pm. I've sent customer services an email. If don't get anything back soon (only sent 20 mins ago) will try calling customer service number but am sure there's a long wait. Guessing they are being inundated with Q's about the Touchpad.

Wouldn't it have made more sense to issue a statement regarding the price drop. Saying all who have secured one will get it. If they are still negotiating with HP they could just say, although I think HP is very clear on the price! Just hope they aren't going to return them to HP.

Help me Argos, you're my only hope

    Regarding Amazon orders:
Last night, they had a small stock which some few people managed to receive. The people with "no delivery estimate" have NO stock allocated to their order. We have merely preordered the product for when it becomes available next. She also confirmed however, that Amazon are in communication with HP and their suppliers to receive more stock. "If or when new stock becomes available, customers who ordered the item last night but are showing "no delivery estimate" are first priority." The next shipment of items will be reserved for those people like ourselves if they can get stock at all.
