dixons offering the 32gb touchpad and the case and docking station for £249
if anyone is interested not sure I beleive they are in stock though !!0 -
Managed to order the bundle from Currys, they have taken the money and confirmed the order, but won't count on it until the order is dispatched.
They still appear to have some of the 32gb in stock.0 -
Have ordered the bundle from Dixons, plus if you input the promotional code TABLET5 you get another 5% off.
having said that, I won't believe this has been successful until I see the parcel arrive0 -
i rang up PC World earlier to see if they could honour my original order (which the money was taken for, then refunded) of the 32gb touchpad at £115.99 now they had it back in stock.
they fobbed me off with some excuse about it being a bundle now. i spoke to a supervisor and pointed out if i had ordered the touchpad, case and charger in the bundle 2 weeks ago it would still have only been £204.99 but they wouldn't price match it.
i've sent an email to the CEO but doubt it will do any good.0 -
I would personally reconsider ever using PC World again. Absolute shoddy service. Im a patient and understanding and realise as soon as these things go on sale, thousands try and get them and understand they could oversell. But the fact they even can ask me for proof of my order as "they cant find it" yet have fully taken the money!0

How could they price match? Its not a current offer.0 -

I wouldn't have thought it was being unreasonable if they had taken the order (and the money) and then cancelled the order on the basis of no stock, to expect them to give you some consideration when it now comes back in stock only weeks later.
Yes they are selling a bundle but that is to hide the fact that they have significantly increased the price (was the £1000 touchpad yesterday set up to direct you to the bundle deal? It was available not in a bundle though).
That said, perhaps the price they are being charged has now significantly risen (or they are simply taking advantage of the feeding frenzy and don't see why they should sell for £89/£115 when many people and some retailers are then selling for £200/£250+)
