I follow the Palm Twitter feed
Just saw on there that an update for Quick Office is available, use the Software manager to update (there's also an Adobe Reader update)
"Quickoffice HD adds editing capabilities (for Microsoft Word and Excel) to give you more abilities to draft and update documents. Formatting options include changing font type, color, size, underlining, italics, and bold in Word, and formating cells and using functions in Excel. In addition, the free update includes many performance and multitasking enhancements."
Welcome to the 21st century :rotfl: no mention of the changes in Adobe Reader though so no idea what's different in this version.
edit: the official HP Palm blog is here: http://blog.palm.com/ with links to Twitter and Facebook
edit 2: Adobe Reader now loads documents faster but still no search and bookmark functions unfortunatelyNow free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -
cheers - PDFs do now feel a bit snappier.
search function is sorely missing tho.0 -
my 32gb touchpad from John Lewis arrived just now. Very quick delivery as i ordered Sat and it's here today after bank holiday even though i chose free delivery within 5 working days.
will switch it on later and see what its like and hopefully do the tweaks.0 -
Enjoy
the speed tweaks do make a huge difference, I've also overclocked mine to a sensible 1.5ghz using Uberkernel and Govnah from Preware

You ordered Saturday - you mean John Lewis had more stock in over the weekend? Oh no, have I missed out again.....0
