tiff ask yourself this then would you be happy to eat in a restaurant where human secretions had been mingling with the dishware??

I would imagine that does happen if people spit out food onto a plate (still gross lol) and then it goes into the dishwasher.

I'm female.. but dont want to contravene any MSE obscenity rules... btw you dont need to buy wipes.. just wash...

Usually yes... but it can be comforting for a teen girl, lets face it they're insecure, to have something to 'clean themselves up' with at school discreetly in the loos if there is a leak or their period starts unexpectedly. They have the choice between wipes or feeling dirty and self conscious all day.

Unless you'd expect a 13 year old to whip out their chuff at a row of sinks in front of other kids :eek:

I'd just put in a very small travel pack of baby wipes, much cheaper :)

So the chef wont have picked his nose or sweated or be exhaling or been for a loo break and not washed his hands. You wouldnt eat from a restaurant fork where a thousands peoples saliva had been swilled over it? Or drink from a beer glass in a pub?..

Although.. menstrual loss is sterile until it reaches the air.. unlike saliva, mucus and sweat... Kissing someone is FAR more disgusting!

My dishwasher also washes at high temps.. so killing potty germs.. and rinses in clean water several times throughout the cycle.. you dont do that with your hand washed dishes..

I have to say I agree! That's probably one of the most disgusting things I've ever heard someone doing! Gross and yuk!

As for the wipes, although my daughter uses tampons, she also has pads as weel at the same times on the first couple of days, I always buy her the always freshelle pads, they have a little wipe stuck on the front of them for a quick freshen up! We keep baby wipes in the bathroom for anyone who wants to use them!

Nope... lol.. better my blood than cows or pigs or chickens.... I dont see what the difference is... other than the mooncup doesnt get popped out and emptied in the DW.. it is rinsed and then put in so just the same as putting a chopping board in really.. only less gross.

I put the breast pump and the cats dishes in the DW too :p

you put up with that laziness???

    Yes.

Sunday shes up at 7 or 8am to go out with her Air Cadet Squadron usually doing charity work.

Mon - Friday she's up at 7am for school.

Mon, Tues and Wednesday she's out from 7pm - 10pm again working with her squadron either training or doing charity work.

Personally, I think she deserves a lie in on a Saturday all things considered dont you?
