I think its nice to make the day a bit special - so I usually do heart shaped fried eggs (put oil in the pan, then place large heart shaped cooky cutter in, then break egg into this). I make heart shaped toast - and heart shaped sandwiches for lunch boxes (even the kids!). I cut small red heart shapes out of a sheet of tissue paper and springle these on the table, where we eat something a bit special by candlelight. Bottle of wine and romantic DVD for later (doesnt matter if its something we've already watched). You cant have enough romance - and Mr Hallmark neednt make a penny!
  • I am going to a posh trendy restaurant for a lovely meal on the day itself
then about a week later i am going to Paris as my treat

So yes we still do Valentines day
