Forgot to say we have been married for 25 years this March he was my Childhood sweetheart, I was 16 1/2 when I met him.
I am a soppy romatic.
We both deserve a medal LOL0 -
We do cards now, but not gifts. I did once bake him some shortbread, which I cut into 2 sizes with heart shaped cutters, and sprinkled with caster sugar. I put them in a nice wooden box lined with paper doilies. They were really pretty and he was very pleased with them - might do it again this year, come to think of itOfficial DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0

My DH & I don't 'do' Valentines day as prices everywhere shoot up and lots of resteraunts overbook making for an uncomfortable atmosphere. We make sure that we do something romantic together just before or soon afterwards though.0

my OH and I dont do valentines either - both think its a commercial rip off. Been together nearly 3 years now and finally managed to have that day together for the first time last year - just said happy valentines and got on with the day! After all you can tell somebody you love them every day of the year - not just feb 14th...May tomorrow bring new horizon's...... ::j0

This will be our 3rd Valentines Day, and the first living together. In previous years we have exchanged cards & gifts, but this year we are saving so I think we'll probably do cards, and splash out on a nice box of chocs between us and I'll cook his favourite meal...0

This is our 3rd valentines day but 1st living together. In previous years we have exchanged small gifts and a card but it is our anniversary at the end of Jan so we are combining both and going to see Stomp in theatre.
