eBay Sellers - delivery options

Yes I do know that thanks, I'm not stupid.
I have had serveral items go missing using non-recorded and only one using recorded. Maybe my local sorting office likes to take things/lose things I don't know. But for whatever reason I have less problems using recorded than non-recorded.
I agree. I too have had less problems with recorded than none recorded being both a buyer and seller.
I post a lot of items 1st or 2nd class (non recorded) but they are items which are not worth paying the extra 77p on top of standard delivery. I have only had two go missing as a seller out of possibly a couple of hundred over the 7 years. I've never had a recorded item lost in delivery so there does seem to be less problems with recorded delivery than standard 1st or 2nd class hence why I prefer recorded delivery - I like to make sure my buyers receive their items.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0 -
It suits me for other sellers to use recorded as it merely increases my own sales and profits..so I will stop trying to persuade people to save money and just get on with my wrapping and packing of my sales this evening (which as you can see I am doing everything to avoid
)

I am not a Business seller. I simply sell items I no longer want or need. My item might be the only one available on ebay so I don't really need to compare my delivery service/charges with other sellers.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0 -
You seem to think you know best when it comes to delivery and ebay so I am guessing that is why you put 'ex postie' in your sig - like you'd know more than anyone else. I know many postmen, some are very good friends but they don't know better than any other who uses their delivery service.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0

you seem to have made up some big story to go with my sig
i have my sig in place so it gives context when i give advice & information on RM services
now stop trying to bait me and go back and answer my question.
or if you like I'll go digging through your past posts and dig up some irrelevant stuff to question you on
or if you cant handle a simple debate,go and have a whimper on the couch0 -

How can I not handle a simple debate?
Just because your an ex postie is does not mean you know anything more or better than anyone else when it comes to ebay, delivery and RM claims. All the information is available on the RM website (which is now working for me since it was unavailable for a few days) so it does not matter if your a ex postie or not.
Dig up what you like - it will show you have nothing better to be doing as well as too much time on your hands
PS. I am now logging off to watch a film with the other half incase you reply and wonder why I have gone quiet.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0
