I refer you to the comment (attrib) of a Mr. S. Goldwyn - a big player in the contracts division BTW

'A verbal agreement isn't worth the paper it's written on'

In the circumstances under discussion a far wiser analysis than Martin's

'If it looks too good to be true it probably is' caveat.

I think you may have this the wrong way round. I'm sure the applicants would like WFI to suck, but have found this to be a clause which is hard to include in the agreement.

I've heard this is a standard clause in Husband Finance Inc (HFI) which is available in a limited number of households mainly where the Thumb attachment that was fitted to the top of the head at point of "I do" has gone faulty.

This clause is included in BF finance when it is used in the purchase of a ring , however once the ring is purchased this clause is removed.........

sorry to hijack your thread but my hamster needs heart surgery and i don't have the necessary £1500. my goldfish has offered to take out a loan in his name and use himself as security. he weighs about 2ounces so that should be enough at todays gold price.

how do i get him to sign the loan? can anyone recommend a lender with waterproof forms?

  • Perhaps you need to look at your relationship. My wife and I lend each other money all the time. There's no time limits and no restrictions. She tends to have change available so pays my bonus ball money at work. I buy her gifts occasionally and she does the same with me.
    You know...a healthy relationship.

I would be careful dealing with Wife Finance as I have been using their services for the past year and my money is never usually available when I want it.
