Also a current account can pay 5% upto 2k I think
How do I set it so that it transfers to my current account? Got a santander esaver for my tax savings, and would like interest transferred into current account0 -
You can do it manually every month
Both should be listed online for you next to each other

I have already got the eSaver issue 4 - I applied for a 2nd one last night to see if it'll go through - it did no problem!
Under the T&Cs, only 1 per customer. Has anyone else opened multiple eSaver accounts?
I had two issue 2s because the rate went up, and I didn't know that the new rate would be applied to existing accounts. I also had two issue 3s because there were problems when opening it the first time, so I tried again, and then a week later both appeared.
So it looks like they didn't enforce their T&Cs. But the question remains - why would you want to have two anyway?0 -
Quite simply for me easier budgeting. One esaver for one budget a second for another. If I've help in anyway, please remember to thank me :-)0

Fair enough but you can always keep a spreadsheet or stick a board on your wall.. in addition to the esaver i have 3 santander current accounts and like to keep them maxed out, so my budgeting has to be done elsewhere anyway0

3 current accounts. I wasn't aware that you could have multiple current accounts. That might be a better option. If I've help in anyway, please remember to thank me :-)0 -

I just tried logging into my online banking with same details i've had for months, and I got message " these details are incorrect " anyone else getting this?
No doubt I will ring them tomorrow and they will send me new details in post, and another set of login details to memorise. If this happens, think I will tell them to transfer my money to another account I have!
I sent a payment from barclays under 10k on Saturday, and when I checked yesterday I still had not recieved it, even though it was supposed to go via FP0 -

My Mrs had the very same problem repetitively about 6 months ago. She switched to Halifax.
She had been migrated from A&L to Santander and we came to the conclusion that was the problem but Santander kept telling her it was user error despite the fact she has used the same details for 10 years!!!0 -
I've just open my 3rd eSaver with any problems. I thought you were allowed one only.If I've help in anyway, please remember to thank me :-)0
