More likely the price drop (if any, doesn have to be worldwide) hadn't got to whoever updates the site by close of business Friday and no-one will be working the weekend

    Hello

Thanks for the information. I was looking at a HP a couple of weeks ago.

I'm not au fait with technology, I would like one to surf the net, email and also study via university blackboard. Do you think this would be ok on a HP?

    Thanks in advance
  • I JUST bought a £450 HP laptop last weekend. Should I return it??

They mush have halted production a while ago somthing like this has to have 2/3 month supply time. It could be HP simply are not shipping out to stores at the moment so now warehouse stock is gone thats it till HP decide what to do with the excess stock.

They can't have sold out all stock that quickly there has to be some on boats from China where it's made unless they soptted production a while ago. If they did it would have leaked out so inventory has to be somewhere.

Ginen the poor sales in the UK there has to be stock somewhere, it's jst where and will HP authorise the price drop.

Well I'm hoping to be able to grab a bargain next week :p now that the Project TouchDroid team have got theirs (lucky them!) and have started working on the port, I really would like to get my grubby mitts on a 32GB model. If they don't get sold cheap here, I'll probably ask a friend in the US to see if he can grab one for me - apparently HP US is possibly going to have 300k+ of them to flog next week because some retailers have decided to send their stocks back...
Now free from the incompetence of vodafail
  • If a reduction does happen i can see either Amazon or Tesco Direct being first off the mark with a price reduction - Both constantly try to outdo each other so both will be keen to be 'first' with a price cut.
