Hi all,
flutterby have you tried just cooking with Marmite? I know sounds vile, me personally i hate Marmite and Vegemite. Makes me feel sick, just the smell alone.
But weezl has some recipes using it, heres the link
http://www.cheap-family-recipes.org.uk/planner-option3-month1.html
and the shopping list that goes with it
http://www.cheap-family-recipes.org.uk/planner-option3-month1-weeklyshopping.html.
I've selected the vegetarian / vegan meal plan.
Can honestly say the calzone's with bit a marmite taste nice.
I also don't like quorn and find it hard eating meat, but when i make a tomato sauce i add some marmite to it. Adds depth and B12.
Not sure if that helps you at all.
P.s i am not advertising weezls site, i think just i would post up for anyone to take a look at it.#
Please remove if i have broken rules etc
thanks
Well my day today has been kind of productive, finally washed the rug from the front room, only been a week and counting .
Then ran off to visit friends before they two week holiday and vigil for they son. My boys love them to bots and were crying in the car at the thought of not seeing for a fortnight.
Came back to scrummy sandwiches, semolina and cake, all hm.
Were all shattered like, can't wait till sleep time.0
