I'll join in the moaning, but good news first. I called the doctor to chase up the CD5 and CD20 tests I did in September, and the results are all 'normal' apparently. So I presume that means I am ovulating, but I didn't actually speak to the doctor. I have set up a visit after Christmas, as they couldn't give me an evening appointment before then.
Secret debts: I'm also starting the OPK trail again. Bought a new set today, but I didn't bother with EBay and found the last box at my boots. I am lucky to have a shorter cycle, so I will start testing in the next few days.
Someone was asking recently about time for AF. Mine does seem to clear up after a couple of days, I did worry that this might cause problems, but I also read it makes no real difference.
2ba3c. I took Metformin for a while when I was younger. The reason it makes you lose weight is actually because it makes you feel sick all the time. Not too bad, just a slight nauseous feeling which tends to mean you don't feel like eating. I did lose a reasonable amount of weight, but it was a one off thing. The next time I had adjusted to the medication and I felt fine - which meant no weight loss! So it is good and bad. No idea what else it does to you though in relation to ovulation and pregnancy related diabetes though.
So - my moan of the night is that I have hurt my b£$%DFy back again. I actually had to stop my personal training session half way through in too much pain. The trainer then did lots of stretching and massage, but it's still sooo sore. I am so annoyed that this keeps happening now I am trying to get back into exercise. Anyone have any advice for lower back pain? It might be my chair at work which is terrible. I never had this problem in my old job where I had a very fancy (expensive) chair.
I looked into replacing the chair with the one from the old job, but they are over £400!!!0 -
Yikes. It's £850! http://www.johnlewis.com/230627150/Product.aspx
Could get a weekly massage instead for a good while instead!0 -
my moan was just about my stupid body ! getting LOTS of pregnancy symptoms, cramps, nausea, thick throat, greasy hair, slept all afternoon then had another hour after I had fed the kids and I KNOW that at only 6dpo there is no way in the world its all down to anything other than wishful thinking !
One of the mums from the school was also a little blunt with me today when I commented her son was making me broody, she asked if we would try again and when I said I couldnt not after getting so far last time she replied "what if it just happens again" she knew I had lost a baby but clearly didnt know the details so I had to explain to her the chances are so slim its not worth the worry. She looked at me like I was deluded but didnt push it further.
One of those days when you begin to wonder why you put yourself through it I guess !
Flee,
i'll pass on the disaronno but you can sling the chocolates this way

I have a personal trainer too time2deal and have had back problems, but I do mostly pilates based exercises with my trainer, and it really helps. I can't actually recall the last time I had any serious discomfort, but I also have toned muscles too and she works my quite hard each session. She's really big on stretching and massage too. She also recommends I try to fit in a couple of cardio sessions a week between seeing her, but I have to confess that very rarely happens.0

Hi, All
I am new to this thread - I signed up to the TFAB5 thread and got pregnant the first cycle of trying, so signing up here for more MSE luck! We have a DS, born October 2010, and are very keen for a second baby (and third!). Hello, and good luck to everyone.:starmod:I'm a SAHM to a smiley snuggly adventurous cheeky bundle of b:male:y b.Oct10. :j
We're a vegan family. We do cloth nappies/wipes, dabble with ECing, use toiletries without parabens/SLS etc, co-sleep, baby-wear, BF, BLW, eco-ball laundry, and we plan to home educate (ideally not at home too much - we want to travel the globe).:starmod:0 -
