Great news Sexymouse
Q - it was a bit difficult for you to take DH when he was out of the country! Sometimes rules have to be broken!0 -

:p:p
I hope I ov sometime this year though:o
I was hoping for IVF with lots of injections etc so I'll ov early, but seems they want to see the egg as it is, and then decide if I need to improve the egg or not.
The natural IVF I'm going for is more of a diagnostic thing. They may not be able to get an egg, as there will only be one egg, and sometimes it is in a difficult to reach area. Good thing is this first initial IVF is cheap:money:
The second one will be the 'real' IVF with multiple eggs:cool:0 -
Hello ladies!
CD1 due tomorrow for me (day I fly) and temp has tipped to usual Pre-AF temps. *big sigh*
I went to the doctor yesterday and feel good about it this time (for once!), more blood tests tomorrow (looking at thyrioid and diabetes stuff - as weight has been going on very quickly over the last year) and we'll see if I get onto metaformin. Does anybody here take it, a friend says she takes it and has lost about a stone (slowly) and its made her feel sick. Interested to know how others are getting on with it.
Just read back and finally managed to catch up a bit. I don't feel like I have properly managed to catch up since I started my new job (which btw, I still have - thank goodness. And thank you for your wonderful words of positivity and encouragement. Every single one of them was read and appreciated. Im sorry I didnt have a chance to reply....) When usually people start winding down for Xmas, in my industry, we seem to get busier!
We're off to the US on Thursday and I can bet my bottom dollar, I'll ovulate when we are over there (insert rolley eyes here). I absolutely cannot WAIT for a holiday. My body, my relationship, my head - are all ready for a rest.
I hope everyone is OK, Im looking forward to having more time to sit down and re-catch up over Xmas

Hugs for everyone on CD1 or having a hard time.
This made me laugh today until tears rolled down my cheeks, so thought I'd share with anyone feeling in need of being cheered up. Warning, it is a bit rude, and not at all related to ttc!

fingers xed you can figure that out tinks, v confusing and I'm sure ladies on here have better idea than me. I know I sometimes think things are coming and then it's a day later but you obv had some indication?
sexymouse im so pleased that your interview went well. They are renowned to be a good company to work for and that will help so much with benefits - supermarket vouchers when you need them and obviously saving up for 'babyfund' as we call it.
QQ, That's so exciting to me, are the odds of ICF similar to ours? My colleague in work was having it or ICSI, I'm not sure which by what she says but when she told me it was a low chance at 30%, I had to bite my tongue to stop me saying that was similiar to the chances me and OH have - oops!
(((hugs))) to all. My teaching placement is having the potential to be awkward but I am actually grateful for the distraction from my 2 ww :S I will definitely be on Operation Christmas Conception - 27 day cycle last month and I'm on 10dpo and 26th day, eep?!
