PS I've got a job interview to work for that lovely department store with initials JL on Tuesday (just for weekend work, but hoping the extra money will help, as well as getting a new job again helping with TTC). If I get it, I'll have 4 jobs - invigilating, supply teaching, babysitting and salesperson. lol

Hoping the Job Interview goes well although 4 jobs how do you keep track...

I've been having tummy/back aches, like AF is coming (also bad PMT like symptoms). So not sure what's going on as AF shouldn't be due for about 8 days yet. Unless it's still my body getting back to normal (it was my first AF after birth last month).

I have the same thing at them moment and also the 1st AF after birth. hmm curious.:p

why confused? do you work shifts or nights, in case you haven't noticed it is quite late.

  • Lol. I've got a 'real' job - then I've got an eBay business, then I've got a Wedding stationery business too (plus mystery shopping, surveys etc) so I'm always doing something trying to earn money. The 'real' job announced this morning that they are restructuring the company and are buying out our current working contracts. The job I'm doing now is therefore pretty much the same but riskier (health & safety wise) and less rewarding, and less chance of promotion/upgrading. However I think I stand at least half a chance of applying for a promotion that may be coming up which will get me a 5k pay-rise, be a lot more rewarding & interesting, safer and probably more flexible hours which would obviously all be better for a future little one.
But this promotion is not likely to come around until about 3-5 months time - so do I put ttc on hold until I go d out what's going on -or do I carry on actively (desperately) trying knowing that with my long cycles etc its unlikely to happen so soon anyway (plus I don't think I can stop myself actively trying now I know what to do) - or do I slip into ntnp for a few months (do t think I can do this either lol).

    Sorry for the epic post!!

Glad your mil is home ok bz, how's your dad doing?
He's ok thanks - using crutches a bit better now, which I'm told is a good sign (instead of relying on a zimmer) - he had his staples (*shudder*) out today, which he said was painful but not as bad as he was expecting. I think he'll be on better form by Christmas/9days time when I get to see him :)
MIL is scared to be at home though :( I don't think she's agreed to enough help, and it's distressing me somewhat :o

Big Zippy - I see you are a day ahead of me. Are you testing? I am too nervous to...
    A Little One :o

I tested yesterday and the day before, both BFNs. I've got some more streaked cm today and cramps, so I'm assuming AF's gonna be here, on schedule, tomorrow

You should test and give us some good news ;)

Secrets - I think you just answered your own question, my love ;)

    QQ good luck tomorrow :)

I've been having a bit of a quiet weep tonight :o I said to DH earlier "sometimes, I try and tell myself that we don't need a baby, we've got a nice life together..." he cut me off and said "no, we do need a baby. I want a baby. I can't imagine us not having a baby in our life, in at least some way":(:A

Big ((Hugs)) BZ, you still have a long way to go before considering other options.

With regards to mil are you able to get involved to get her more help, it would take the stress off.

secretdebts, I agree with BZ, I think you have answered your own question. Personally I wouldn't be able to stop and if it did happen it was meant to be. (remember that you wouldn't have to tell them until you are 24 weeks)

You work alot, it took me ages last week to list things on ebay and I only sold 3 items (think it was my fault with the auctions finishing at 3am didn't help)

I had a weep earlier in snappy snaps, I went to get the pictures put in my locket and the one I got for OH. While waiting there were loads of canvas prints with sayings such as 'my first picture' etc and I had a bit of a weep and made all the staff uncomfortable (at least they knew why due to the pictures they were developing)

  • & huge hugs zippy. I don't think I can say anything that'll make you feel any better.

If I pull a cat-bum face will it make you smile??

Glad dad is feeling better - has mil got a social worker/ carer/community nurse you can talk to to get her some more help in & increase it gradually so she doesn't notice?
