I post on the trying to conceive after a loss forum on Baby and Bump as well as on this one, because everyone there has been through similar experiences. I tend to stick to one fairly long running thread on there, which at any one time only has about a dozen regulars, and find it very helpful when I am having a :( day.

I think one of the things which might enfuriate me if I do get pregnant again, is the posts which pop up every now and then from women who are desparate for an early scan to see their baby, and pretend to have had some bleeding to get one on the NHS. Even though I get my antenatal care privately these days, so it would never impact me, it is hard when you read about ladies who genuinely are having a pregnancy scare but have to wait for up to a week for a slot at EPAU for a scan due to pressure of numbers, when some women have taken the time they so urgently need for a selfish reason. I might also be less than sympathetic to some of the moans and groans about quite minor pregnancy niggles. I do think you appreciate how lucky you are to be pregnant much much more if it has taken quite a while to conceive or if you have suffered losses along the way.

I suppose one can always open one and see, or open one in the Arms section?
I didn't bleed at all on my mc, it was one of those missed mcs.
Morning sickness stopped when the baby died though:o

I haven't posted but I've read a fair bit on there. I've also read quite a lot on the Miscarriage Association forum but again I haven't posted.

That is bad. My local hospital is quite busy anyway as two other hospitals close by have closed/are closing their maternity wards so there is a larger number of patients. It took me a while to get in at the EPU when I was having bleeding last time. Even when I went to A&E the earliest they could get me in was five days later.

I bled, but not at a level they consider anything to worry about and I kept getting told that everything was most likely fine and lots of women have some bleeding and the baby is ok.
They still classed mine as a mmc as my body hadn't let the baby go. :o
My symptoms slowly decreased a few days after Alex had died but as I was at the 12 week mark I thought it was normal :o

Can't be 12 weeks, you've done 4 weeks by the time one gets BFP:cool:
    8ww?:D

Let's all meet up at parents thread:beer:

Shopping baby things sounds very exciting to me crib.gif

I didn't buy a thing last time, not even maternity clothes, and if I ever get pg, I won't start buying until the third trimester, but I don't see any harm in browsing now:p

I forgot about the 4 "free" weeks :D

I won't be buying anything for a while as it looks like we'll be needing a new boiler :rotfl:

That makes me so cross too. My friend was saying it's quite the done thing in her "other" circle of friends and believe me these are not people who are too poor to stump up £100 or so for a private scan if they want one. As someone who was told by dr's and midwives there was no need for an early scan and to just sit tight before my mc this made me feel sick.

I do sometimes think that maybe I should post on another forum where there are there are threads for TTC and pg after loss but then I like it here and I like that we are quite a small, close knit group. :o You are right though, I don't think we could get away with another pg-related thread :o
