Peeing loads lol and suffering from the cold from hell! With my immune system through the floor I can't take anything for it except paracetamol! Think i'm near the end now though. Other to that all is well!
I had that when pregnant with my DS - got a horrid cold straight away! Wonder if it's because your immune system dips due to pregnancy?
Not sure if I'll go to the less than 12 weeks thread, if I'm honest. That thread wasn't around in my first pregnancy (well, I think it started when I was in my 3rd trimester) and while I understand why some people feel the need for it, I personally feel 1 big pregnancy thread is much better. I prefer it because it's fun to hear what ladies further along are going through!
Thanks for the well-wishes ladies, I will keep lurking here for a while because I want to see many more of you get BFPs soon! Also, with an early miscarriage (I think I was 5+1) last time, it won't feel 'real' for a little while yet.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!

I agree, I feel I've "done" the first 10 weeks of pregnancy already before my mc and know the first tri is pretty boring, it should be called the 12 week wait. Not a fat lot happens unless it's not good:(. A successful first tri is one where nothing happens in my book and there's not much to say about that! I can't even help to reassure any first pregnancy ladies with their worries as my only experience so far is when it goes wrong.:o
I'm sure we'll all "see" each other around somewhere though
ETA not that I'm complaining in the slightest! I'll be very happy for a long, super boring nine months when I don't get a minute of excitment until my baby's birthday, but I don't need to talk about it!0 -

I had a serious one, and baby or no baby, it's not something I'd like to repeat:ofirst tri is pretty boring, it should be called the 12 week wait. Not a fat lot happens unless it's not good:(.

I didn't buy a thing last time, not even maternity clothes, and if I ever get pg, I won't start buying until the third trimester, but I don't see any harm in browsing now:p0 -
No sickness so far really. I did have a few days or a week or so of just no appetite so just ate little and often and sometimes feel queasy for a bit after I had eaten. But that passed so guessing it's not related.0

That's exactly how I'm going to be if I ever get another BFP. After getting over that 12 week point only for it to go wrong, I think it will be a long wait until I feel like I can enjoy itBut at the same time I'd give anything to be pg again
Shopping baby things sounds very exciting to me

I bought a few baby clothes and a lot maternity clothes because I got fat quickly- too much food rather than baby
- but now I wish I hadn't
I'm with you QQ - definitely will be leaving the buying until the last minute.

It might be helpful to have a "pregnant after a loss" thread, though don't know if MSE would consider that a step too far as I know at one point at least the powers that be didn't really like all the spin off pregnancy threads. I do think though that it does throw up a whole different set of issues from the regular thread. I know when my last one went wrong, a lot of people were trying to convince me that a small amount of bleeding was fine and that morning sickness meant everything was OK. Neither of which turned out to be true. I am surprised to this day by how little I bled when I lost the last baby, nowhere nearly as much as a regular period for example, and my morning sickness continued for weeks after the loss was confirmed and the HPT was BFN again. You also feel bad about bringing the main thread down if you are posting about your worries constantly, but sometimes what you really need is for someone to tell you that you arent worrying about nothing and should get medical help.
I hadn't bought anything this time round, but I had persuaded my DH to bring my maternity clothes down from the loft so they were handy when I needed them, and it was quiteto have to put them away again so soon.

My first mc was similar Nicki, I think they were at similar stages? I had very little bleeding, my next AF however came after only 21 days and was very heavy.
It is really difficult on the <12 thread as a lot of people on there are in their first pg and you're right the issues that come with pg after loss are different and you don't want to bring the mood down or scare people even with your worries and past expereinces.
The bleeding thing is a tricky one because there are lots of ladies who have it and everything is fine but then there are lots of ladies for whom it isn't fine.
I do sometimes think that maybe I should post on another forum where there are there are threads for TTC and pg after loss but then I like it here and I like that we are quite a small, close knit group. You are right though, I don't think we could get away with another pg-related thread
