((hugs)) flee and Nicki have lots of lovely wine/other alcohol/naughty cheese/seafood/pât!/rare steak and cured meats and other yummy things you won't be able to eat/drink when you both get your Christmas BFPs :)

I've had a nice day off today, went into Manchester (which is just like every other day as I work in Manchester) with DH so he could drop some documents off for his new job. We then went to lunch and saw Simon Rimmer (from something for the weekend). I wanted to take a picture of him but couldn't without looking obvious! :o We just finished tidying the house and I'm now having a sit down before I cut DH hair then get ready to go out for dinner with SIL and her husband.

    xx

    ETA why is "p a t e" a naughty not allowed word?!

Because the spell check insists it has to be spelt with an accent over the e and then blocks it because it can't do accents :rotfl:

Can I just announce that following some fab advice on where I should look from another forum, I have found my BBT! I may though have ordered a new one from amazon last night just in case (and a spare one in case the new one also got misplaced :o). Any CLEAN suggestions about what a girl can do with 3 BBTs first thing in the morning :D

sadly my debit card is obviously in a different "safe place" however ;)

Could you try selling the unused one on gumtree or ebay Nicki?
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

To be fair they only cost about £3 each! I'm not sure I could be bothered for that. Still, at least I shall never have any excuse not to be able to temp

When you get your BFP, you could put it together in a bundle with your CBFM sticks etc?

    Hello people,

I've been playing with FF - it's quite fun! Just got my BBT - day 2 of taking a temp and when OH shed alarm (don't ask, livestock farmers have to put up with some funny phone calls!) went off at 4am I automatically reached for it and took my temp! Just had my first proper AF from being off the pill so feel a bit relieved things seem to be back to normal on that front. OH is soooooo busy this week I think we'll start properly trying after next AF but would be thrilled if it happened before.

But the biggest exciting news is we're going to offer on a house tomorrow and I'm so excited I don't know what to do with myself!!!!

Edit....I do, I discovered Cadbury's heroes this week in Asda - only 15 more or so chocs to finish the pack. It'd be rude not too!

    CD1 here too.
Really just in the mood to curl up on the sofa with a giant box of choccys, and a hot water bottle as its my night off. But have to go over one of my friend's from the club as its his birthday and he's just got out of hospital after 2 weeks and can't get anywhere, so we are going over his. Really not in the mood for it, but it could be the last one he has with us, so we are all spoiling him a bit. Got him a big box of cream cakes instead of a birthday cake.
Just managed to get the OH to eat cous cous with veg and stuffed mushrooms, he used to be a fussy eater (typical man diet) but he ate it all and most of my plate as well.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

If we had more space, I'd invite you all over for Thanksgiving this weekend! It's technically tomorrow, of course, in America but I have to work so we're going to celebrate on Saturday. Not quite the same feeling as back home, but any excuse to scarf a huge, fat dinner. :D
