Dentist knows we are TTC didn't think to ask ....

    I have 250mg Amoxicillin.
Don't think we're allowed to give medical advice so I would ask a doctor, they might even be able to answer the question for you on reception. I found this though: http://www.babycenter.com/404_is-it-safe-to-take-antibiotics-during-pregnancy_1362964.bc
It's safe during pregnancy according to babycenter.

I know tetracycline is not safe for TTC as I used to take that for my acne and had to stop.

I'm fuming. Doctor has rung from MIL's ward, changing what they're doing entirely, sending her to a different hospital in a different county(!!) to do a different procedure than has ever been discussed, and on a different day!! So now they're on about moving her tonight/first thing and getting her to theatre tomorrow, for a procedure we know nothing about. To say I'm frustrated would be an understatement!

And to top it off, I feel like we "ought to" cancel our fertility appointment (which is, btw in the complete opposite direction to the new hospital she's headed for, by about 30miles!) to be there with her :cry::mad:

I feel like hitting the bottle. Hard. :(

(sorry for the rant, it needed to come out :()

Got 7 cakes to make this year, and 2 puddings,

I love decorating for xmas, but have lost the interest in the last couple of years, think it's because its usually just the 2 of us and we don't usually have visitors.
Same here, last year we went to my parents for the Christmas:o
    Also had no visitors.
But a load of my friends are coming over for a meal a couple of days before christmas, and then a load more at New Year, plus OH's dad for another meal. So yay get to celebrate properly this year.
    That's lovely:)

I'm getting to the point where I see a name, recognise it, and then sometimes I'm not sure if they've been lurking and popped up again, or had a baby and come back too TTC the next, or what! :o

Would the new procedure be an easier one? And the hospital be a better one?

Can't you go to the FS and your DH cancel the dentist and go with MIL?

Love the reindeer Sa-ra-ra! We've got a gold one just like it, it pranced about the flat last year and I loved it! Wasn't a fan of the gold glitter that ended up everywhere though! :o

Crummy news about your MIL BigZippy, no advice just hugs, must be rotten. :(

I have a feeling I'll be out this month, no BD since Saturday, I thought we might be able to do it last night but OH was in a foul mood because the TV has broken (and of course it's *my* fault even though I didn't even touch the bleeding thing!) so we were in no position to DTD! He makes me so mad sometimes, he always has to take his moods out on me; I said I had no idea what to do about the TV as a) I know nothing about repairs and b) I don't have a few hundred quid sitting around to spend on a new one so he felt the need to say that there's no point talking to me since I have nothing productive to add to *any* conversation and ignored me from then on! He was still sulking this morning when I left, it's times like this that I'm glad he works odd hours, so I don't have to look at his sulky face!! ;)

Is there anyone else who could hand hold for her ? A friend ? neighbour ?

I agree with QQ if you must, divide and conquer ;)

Personally (bearing in mind ive got pmt from hell today ) I would start to think of myself a little more, whilst its great to support other people through the hard times its causing YOU so much stress and upset that It may well be detrimental to your own well being.
You cant work miracles, and you cant juggle all the balls (ahem:o) all the time, pick the most important and put the others to one side for now ! (most important for you)

Wow this thread is so hard to keep up with, pretty fast moving hey?! Am loving the Christmas chat, can't believe it has sneaked round so fast again this year...

Hugs to everyone who is fed up/angry/wants one! Especially bigzipppy, that sounds like a nightmare!

I'm so frustrated today... I know I can't be PG as only had coil out 9 days ago but am now 4 days late, had only reaaaaaally light spotting for 2 days. Have been feeling really sick for 2 days, and my boobs are usually so tender until AF arrives but that went off 2 days ago.... Looks like having coil out is playing with my cycle more than I was told it would! Just want AF to get here so we can start trying properly!

    Massive squishy ((hugs)).

Did they say why they are now recommending a different procedure? They may not let you go on to the ward outside of visiting hours to be with her and when she's having the op there's nothing you can do so maybe you can still go to your fertility appointment and go see MIL after she's had the op?

    ((hugs)) birdie

Sa-ra-ra-ra I've bought that reindeer! Nipped into BHS on the way home. I'm trying to force myself to look forward to Christmas rather than dreading it because I'm not going to be pg. I don't want to spoil it for DH.

Hugs BigZ- I would go to your FS appt, will MIL be awake in the pm? You can always head straight over after. Hopefully someone else can share your 'burden' (in the nicest possible way)

I was on amoxicillin whilst PG with DD if that helps.

Birdie- Mine is like that too, mainly about his gadgets/ toys (SKY, Ipod, etc). I just ignore him now until he has gotten over himself.

Had a busy couple of days here, have been cleaning at the new house, and at the old house, we had a viewing today, you never know we may get lucky and sell it soon! Have started cleaning the oven at the old house aswell, although I splashed my arm and it burns! Ouchie!

I *think* I ov'd on saturday judging by EWCM, and OPK, although DH was too tired, but we managed Fri and Sunday, so maybe we have got some hope. To be honest, this month we have had so much going on I would be very surprised if we have done it. My offer of Chocolate still counts though!

My legs are killing me today, just restless legs I think from being up and down ladders cleaning windows all day, but I hate it. It so blimmin uncomfortable.

Now off to iron 2 more pairs of curtains, then will be starting my studying for the night. DH is at MILs watching the footie.

Oh, my internet goes on Fri for a few weeks so will just be using my phone so will be off the radar, although I will post BFN/BFP if either appears in the meantime!

Hope everyone is well, hello newbies and hugs to everyone who needs them.
