what day is your af actually due nicki, hugs, i hope you do get a bfp.

Weel I've been talking to the friend and said I was sorry I didn't sound supportive when she told me as I was a bit upset as we are ttc. She's actually been really supportive and has been talking to me since about it and hopes we get pg. My IC's should be posted 1st class tomorrow so I think if no AF I will test when they get here x only one though x

Thursday next week, assuming another 27 day cycle.

Your friend sounds ace. Glad you cleared the air with her. She may have been feeling rubbish for ages because she wanted a baby and her partner didn't, so perhaps she understands more than you think how you are feeling at the moment.

well fingers crossed for then hun. xx

She's lovely really, she's the only proper friend I have in Ripon, all my others are back home and don't talk to me much anymore. Her OH is my OH's cousin so we have always been quite close. She wants me to get pg asap so our babies can be buddies and in same year etc etc. I mentioned on fb yesterday how i felt a lot happier now that my OH had bought me some salt and vinegar crisps and fat coke and she asked if i had something to tell her and i said no and she mentioned it once or twice so told her it's cos i was feeling a bit crap and they'd cheered me up so i mentioned to OH last night that i thought she might be pg with her mentioning it so much, she said tonight she thought i was pg and really hoped i was. Seems she has been symptom spotting for me through my fb statusses lol.

It sometimes works that way. Bit like menstrual cycles coinciding. I tried for 6 years to conceive my first and fell pregnant 6 weeks after my best friend at the time. When she phoned at 12 weeks to say she was expecting I was able to say I was too. When I phoned at 12 weeks to tell her I was expecting my second, she was able to tell me she was too (this time 6 weeks behind me). With my third, I tried for 2 years and fell pregnant six months after my current best friend and our sons are great friends. (I haven't fallen out with the first friend by the way :D but she lives a long way from me now, so we rarely see each other). My nanny tried for 5 years to have her second child and conceived him 4 months after I conceived my third. So regard her as a fertility booster and spend lots of time with her round ov and 2ww!

Something tells me I'm not going to be lucky this month, in a grumpy mood at the moment but not sure if its a sign of pms, or the fact that I have just spent all day , sorting out my work place's accounts which are in a right mess, which I admit is my fault as it's my job to do, I've just keep putting them off.
Five minutes ago OH had the blumming cheek to ask me to iron his shirt for the interview tomorrow and cut his hair. Talk about leaving it til the last minute.... fuming isn't the word for it. Done his hair, but made him iron his own shirt. I usually wouldn't have done his hair either, but he was doing an impression of Wurzel Gummage, and a big part of this job is about giving a good impression and neat appearence. Grrrrrrr!
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

That sounds like something my DH would do vesper! Not the shirt ironing though, cos he knows better (i am one of life's great non iron ers :p) but something like asking me to start sewing on a button etc plus cutting his hair...

It reminds me of this thing I saw on fb the other day that had a caption over the picture of a fella relaxing which said "don't rush me, I'm waiting for the last minute" :rotfl: I just thought "yep, that's MrZippy" ;)

    Welcome mrsj

Hope those feeling down today feel better :o

glad mishka's pma could be found in the bottom of a birthday week(end) :)

Just read a post on another forum :o which has cheered me up a bit, to the effect that at any point pre AF you have a 50/50 chance of guessing correctly whether you are BFP or not, so a test which claims 62% accuracy at 9 dpo is only very marginally more accurate than guessing for yourself!

I suspect if you think very hard about this it is a logical fallacy. However I am going to choose not to think too hard about it, and accept it as a way of sleeping a bit better tonight :)

Thats funny, when I came off the forum last night I literally thought the exact same thing myself. I thought thats so weird that test said it had a 62% accuracy rate, because you would have a 50% chance by guessing anyway! Then just came on here and read you post it!

Even FF doesnt know when I ov now. My temps dont really fit inline with the opk test. So if I take out the positive opk it says I ovulated 3 days ago. When I leave it in, it doesnt know yet. So will have to wait and see what my temp is tomorrow - AGAIN! I feel like im always waiting for the next morning!

Morning all...my temps have been really odd...every 2 days they rise .1 degree, stay there for two days and then rise again! No idea what it means, just thought it was a funny pattern!

*massive fingers crossed for all those in their 2ww*

I think I'm 9DPO so a few days yet before I can think about testing. I will be strong, I will!! :D:D

*hugs & chocolate* to CD1s, one silver lining is you can have some wine for a week! :D

LOL, that sounds very familiar! :rotfl:

Sounds like your friend is lovely Ikkle, I really you hope get a BFP soon so you can be bump buddies, and lots of freebies as her little one outgrows stuff in the first few months so you won't have to buy it all! :money:I must live near you too!

We didn't BD last night again  What a waste of a leg shave! :rotfl: Ah well I'll try it on tonight. I knew it'd be difficult as OH works 'till 10 in a manual job so he does come home worn out and since I start work at 8 I can't be staying up late with him as I need my sleep... but it is so frustrating! Also wishing I hadn't started using OPKs as I'm not even getting a hint of +ve OV which is worrying me, I might just forget them so I don't worry (bad PMA!) and DTD whenever we can manage and hope for the best, at least for a few months to see how it goes. :o

Thanks everybody for all the welcome messages - I'm so pleased I found this forum, nice to be able to ask all the questions I have, and DH feels a bit pressured if I keep on about it to him... it's very early days for us yet and I think he just wants to 'wait and see' what happens.

I've added you to the first page, let me know if you'd like it changed:)
I use Preseed, I think with conceive plus, you can put them onto your DH or put them inside you. With Preseed, it's inside you only.
    It's up to your preference:D

Which CD are you? Have you ov'd? How do you determine ov?

Thanks QQuaver for adding me to the list. I am actually 29 (and 30 on Wednesday!), the 28 in the user name is a bit of a random number.. I came off the pill at the beginning of November, had my usual withdrawal bleed starting on 7th November, no idea when I will have my first proper period. I've been on the pill for two years and had regular periods before then.

So... does that make me CD 12 or can I not start counting dates until I have had a proper period?

We are BD every couple of days, I haven't bought any OPKs or anything yet.

Thanks again, and good luck to everybody!
