Positive OPK for me. Had cramp this afternoon so definitely ovulating. Had a quick BD session with OH at 5.30pm, seen as we did not BD last night or this morning.

Not sure what is wrong with me, I have been really happy yesterday and today, nothing could dampen my happy mood and it has tried it's best today.

:D Probably! I'm trying to plan the morning as we only have an hour after "production" to get it to the hospital which is half an hour drive away plus parking
It took nearly 2 hrs for DH to produce one of his SAs:o

We tried everything. In the end he told me to go to another room while he looked at some video on his PC. I don't know what he was watching, but he clearly didn't want me to watch it with him:huh::D

Well walking around didn't help my back, and have had cramps tonight, so I should think I am Ov (only guessing mind you). I am no good at telling signs with out a Ov stick. Got blumming reflux now as well which is driving me crazy.
Everyone must have had their stupid heads on tonight, the amount of stupid questions people have been asking. Had one lady phone up to book our function room for a party, and then decided not to as it costs £30! She thought we would let her have it for free!!! Blumming cheek, then said that she always gets it free, one she's never had a party with us, and 2 its never been free. She doesn't even drink at our place. She spent ages moaning at the OH as it was going to cost her. Don't think she will be having it. But makes me annoyed that everyone expects something for free. We are a small committee run Sports Club, and its hardly as it £30 is a lot of money. That's for all night, own private function room and includes me coming in early and setting it up how they would like it, plus an extra member of staff.
    Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.
  • Hmmm, wonder if I can get DH to DTD tonight.... not that anything can happen (well, at least not if last cycle is anything to go by) because I probably won't ov for about two weeks but its fun to practise right? :p

Good idea. My elder sister (6 years older) knew about our parents frantic efforts at TTC when she was young. Seems my parents moved the bed to different rooms (including downstairs) to BD in case that was the problem:p

I told my mum about fertility appts and up to 3 IUIs but not IVF. I was tired of hearing 'are you pg?' every time:o I think she thinks I've given up now.

    How's your doggy?
I can imagine my mum would be asking all the time, and with my infrequent cycles, it would drive me mental. She does know about the pcos, and that we want kids and were waiting to be more financially stable, so sure probably thinks we're trying but in a relaxed way...? *shrug*
The dog is ok, thanks. I don't think the lump has grown, but it's hard to tell really tbh. I think it's a fortnight left til she's checked again :o

Just brought my doggie home from the vets, he looks so sad. He had to have a castration as one testicle was retained inside of him and a cancer risk. It ended up being major surgery as he had 3 cuts and the missing testicle was found in his intestine. He is laid on his bed and feels so cold I have placed a blanket over him.
Ah, bless him. We had our male dog "done" at the beginning of the year - he was very much the same. He'll bounce back soon enough, I'm sure, but extra cuddles always help ;)

I tend to check safefetus.com (i think that's the right url) rebekah, but take it with a pinch of salt and remember that anything that's not been put through a lot of testing in pregnant ladies is considered unsafe -whether there's proof or not - and of course that level of testing costs a lot, so they tend to just say "not to be taken unless benefit outweighs the risk", which is category b I think. Anything that showed issues in animal or human tests/studies is a lower letter, and pretty much the only "safe" category a ones are things like paracetamol.

    :( for the cd1s and bfny's - hope they're just shy bfps :)

AFM, I'm shattered, and so is Dh, so it's good Af is here atm as if it was ov we'd definitely be out the running again lol. Dh booked us an appt with the gp for thurs evening and is leaving work a little early to be able to.come with me for it.:o

Busy all day tomorrow too, visiting mil in hospital (she was brighter today though so hopefully she'll be even more so tomorrow) in the arvo, then pick up dh from work in another town, then travel to another city to pick up my mum for tea, then drop her back and go home to our town. I'm tired just thinking about it lol. At least dad bought me a nice new cardi today ;) and we've taken advantage of tesco's offer on coats and knitwear tonight by getting dh a leather coat thing and a jumper thing for £30 :D I might go get the coat I saw two weeks ago tomorrow too, it was down from £100 to £32 :D this losing weight thing it's a great excuse for buying new togs, cos the old stuffs too big! ;)

Bleuughhhh - feel rubbish today. :(

Expected AF to arrive overnight but not shown her face. Did another test with FMU - BFN, again.
Cold come on with full force and feel terrible - really feel like I want to throw up - got to be in work early too so not looking forward to today.

I'm just wondering whether to by another type of test today - I've been using internet cheapies and its not that I dont believe what they says its just that I feel like I need a 2nd opinion.

I've been putting off taking any cold medicine just in case theres a chance that I could be pg but I could really do with dosing myself up on Beechams today. Have taken paracetamol on the advice of my pharmacist but its just not doing the job....
This is the one occasion that I just wish that AF would hurry up!!

Zippy's right Rebekah it tends to only be low grade stuff like paracetemol that they recommend you take especially in the first trimester. Paracetemol is considered safer, in the first trimester, than you having say a temperature so that's why they'll tell you to take it if you have a fever. I would just have a chat with your dr when you get your BFP about any medicines you regularly take.

Glad your MIL is doing better zippy. Definitely buy yourself that new coat - you deserve it after all your hard work.

I hope your dog's better this morning Primmer.

I'm full up with cold again and I feel exhausted. I don't think bleeding for over four weeks (which has now gone back up to "medium" flow!) is helping with my energy levels- might get some iron supplements.

Hope you all have a nice day.

((hugs)) ICs can sometimes be a bit unreliable. Perhaps buy a superdrug own test as they are :money: but good.

  • DPO 3 for me please.

Not that it makes any difference for my count down. All my PMA at the beginning of the month that this was going to be the month all went to pot as I put my back out over the weekend ... and guess when optimum BD time was?!?!?

Oh well 1 more go before Christmas.
