Hello, I was wondering if I could join the club. After about a year of me being heartbroken about hubby doing a u-turn and saying he no longer wanted kids because we wouldn't have the money to look after them/he would pass on crap genes/we will always want to go back to study etc etc, things have changed back! I came home from the doctors with antibiotics for a water infection and asked if we had condoms to cover us for the next 10 days and he promptly told me we should try for a baby now - just as broody as he used to be before we got married three years ago apparently!
I was only four days into a pill and having a little look on here and elsewhere, it looked as though it wouldn't harm to come off so Thursday was my last Microgynon and I have had withdrawal bleed today. Did think it was a period and was all excited as thought I could figure out when I was going to be ovulating - didn't think I would get that excited as not planning to do temps etc yet. We are 22 and 25 and fairly good health though could always be in better shape so have made a pact to eat healthily and try to get finances in order. Of course like you we are hoping for things to move straight away but this seems highly unlikely. I have been on pill for about a year and implant for two years before that, since we have married. Hopefully it won't be too long until AF visits - never thought I'd want that but that seems to be best way to date?!
You may also have to help me with common sense and acronyms, I feel I know nothing about anything and also scared and don't want to get excited in case we are unable to have children which causes hubby to tell me; don't stop yourself getting excited! Argh... will try and back read as much of the thread as possible but you all seem lovely which is good

Just reading back through the posts and a big :j for +ve opk 2b
Although having seen the pic of your test this has now concerned me that last month I didnt ov... the darkest my line went was no where near as dark as this - it was almost as dark as the test line but not quite but I took this to be a positive as this was the darkest it had got (the next day there was no line at all).
Plus last month I was getting faint lines for up to 5 days before what I thought was ov day - this month I have got nothing (tomorrow or Tuesday is likely to be ov day - if it happens at all!). I have just noticed the faintest ever line on a test this afternoon but its hardly anything but you never know I might see something more in the next couple of days. I am having a few pains so I hope this is a good sign.
Think I may have to start temping next month as this will be the only reliable way of knowing I guess.
Just starting to stress a bit now that I might not be oving after all....0 -
Welcome student mrs
I came off my pill (microgynon) mid packet. I had a withdrawal bleed about a week later then my first proper AF came 35 days later. Some people's cycles take a while to settle down after coming off the pill and some settle straight away. It's kind of a case of wait and see
Fingers crossed your stay is short and sweet

Welcome Student_Mrs!!
Sorry about your BFN, Nicki, hopefully it was just too early...
I should've mentioned in my intro that my cycles are 34 days long...it's soooo hard waiting that extra week!! My temps were all sorts of weird last month so not even totally sure I OVed. I do temping but not OPKs. Also, just found my sister's pregnant so really hope this cycle is the lucky one so we can have cousins only a couple months apart!
I've never heard of Angus Castus before, thanks all, will definitely get some if this cycle isn't successful. I already take folic acid & EPO.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!
