  • Good Evening everyone

Well I woke up really early this morning for some reason (which was annoying because I was on a late at work and really could've done with a lay-in!), went to the toilet and was surprised not to see blood as I was due on today. Then I remembered I had a ClearBlue test in the cabinet that my friend gave me after she got pregnant, so I took it and.....it was a BFP!! :j

I am so shocked. I really didnt think I had ovulated this month. I honestly thought there's no way it could've happened this month.
I walked around in a daze just staring at the stick, then called hubby at work, who then got so excited/happy that he cried! We both had a little cry and then I went to Sainsburys to get more tests, took them and all positive.....am really in shock. And scared! Its really, really early days, probably only 3-4weeks, so a long way to go, am so nervous.......

I will hang around for a little while if you all dont mind because you ladies have been so helpful and give such good advice, I will definitely be a lurker!

Fantastic news MrsBryan. There is obviously something in the air today!

If you don't think you ovulated this month because you had none of the usual ov signs is it possible that you are 4 weeks further on than you thought? It's unusual but not unheard of to have one or more period when actually pregnant. Google decidual bleeding for more info.

Hope you have a good pregnancy

Congratulations MrsBryan - have a happy and healthy pregnancy and birth!

Massive gentle hugs for lemonmelon - hope you heal quickly!

Hugs for those who've lost their PMA, and for those with painful AF.

Off to bed to sleep in a minute (Moon watching the Hurt Locker - not my cup of tea - downstairs). We're going to our local cat charity Xmas Fair (yes I know it's really early, but they always hold it in October) tomorrow, so will make a donation to them along with the entrance fee. We go to all of their fairs, and every time we go, I end up wanting another cat - trouble is, my cat is used to being an "only child" (he's spoilt lol) and I don't think he'd like to have a sibling. Not sure what's up with him tonight, but he's obviously been scared by something, as he's hiding behind the bookcase and sofa and won't come out. Have told Moon not to try and poke him and to let him come out when he's ready (I feel like a Mum already ;) ). After the fair, we're going out for a nice lunch at a new restaurant that has opened near us.

Well sweet dreams to you all,

    sexymouse xx

mmm if i havn't caught the eggy this month i might give temping a go next month - as someone on here said recently it feels good to be trying something new each cycle - its like your trying a little bit more lol - honestly this ttc is a fulltime job :)

that was me :) I like to feel like Ive done something each month slightly different. So this month think Im going to get some pre-seed and do more Bding. Then following month I was thinking of the Sperm meets egg thing. The next month Idont know yet lol. Im hoping I wont need any more ideas!! Like you say it really is a full time job.

I started off just with the opks, but then I read that they only show the LH surge, and dont actually say 100% you will ovulate, whereas temping does. So then I was panicking maybe I wasnt ovulating.

And as Ive come off the pill I need to know that I am definitely ovulating I dont want to waste time guessing! So its very reassuring to know

    Hello people

Just wanted to update, haven't had chance to read back yet.after lots of high days on cbfm last month and no peak am temping this month too.had high on cd10 so it's now gonna be high for 20 days unless it picks up peak in meantime.the more I read the more convinced I am that I have a hormone imbalance. Read somewhere tonight that spots on your chin indicates imbalance in reproductive hormones...anyone else heard this?i do have a patch of spots on my chin and also a dry exzema bit that I cant get rid of. So thinking of trying agnus castus as also did have prev mc at 7 wks.i understand you take up until ovulation but does anyone have any experience with this or know much you are to take etc?xxx
