Trying for a Baby Part 7

I have just been asked for ID buying a box of paracetamol! Wouldnt mind but I am 31!! Wish I felt as young as I looked!!
Having a disastrous day today - doing some clearing out and DIYing trying to get it done before the kitten arrives later, but what should have been a 5 min job has turned into a DIY SOS and created some rather large holes in our kitchen and created a much bigger job in the long run.
We've only been in the house a few months but it seems our predecessors were bodgers when it came to diy - behind the exterior seems to be such a mess and is affecting everything we want to do to the house. Today we just wanted to put up a simple shelf but because they have bodged the plastering its not as easy as it sounds....
Now we have to fix the holes and unnecessarily repaint the kitchen wall. Aaaarrgh.!
Hopefully the cat will take my mind off it later.
Still no signs of OV - was getting faint lines around this time last month but this time theres nothing...perhaps it will happen later than normal.0 -
Congratulations Scarly! xx0

Welcome Aless (I remember you from the PG thread too)!
Yay Scarly! Woohoo!!
Congrats 2b
We have no news on the viewing today yet, although we have told our buyer we are back on the market and had the viewing and he has started to back track a bit on his demands, but not enough yet for us to want to proceed with him.
Gld you are feeling better mishka, and emsbet glad you are nearly there now.
Got a rotten cold again, definitely seems to be something going around.
Forgive me if TMI, but the last week I have been a bit 'gushy' with ample CM, to the point that when I go to the loo a load comes out before I pee- is this normal? Was like this at later stages of my first PG, although that turned out to be leaky waters so not sure what it is/ whether its normal or just my body doing a new trick!
Good weekend to everyone! Am out for a Sunday roast tomorrow and I can't wait!!Boots: £107.xx on AC :j

Hello ladies, I've really missed posting here!
Massive congratulations to the BFPs I missed, I'm still a little woozy so I'll not list them all incase I forget someone, wishing you all the best for the next 8 months and a happy family life.
It turns out I did have a massive lump (probably just a cyst but since it was both solid and liquid I'm waiting to make sure its not anything bad) on my left ovary, it was 30cm big and weighed about 6lb so no wonder I was feeling so rubbish. they operated ten days ago to take it out and cut from my pubic bone to about half an inch below my breast bone (currently held together with 48 staples) so there go my dreams of being a bikini modelIts very good to have it out, hopefully my periods will go back to normal and all my other symptoms have disappeared but I'm very sore and trying to adjust to the fact that i wont just be better overnight.
They took out my left ovary and fallopian tube and a section of my right ovary that didn't look too good but I am assured that fertility with 3/4 of an ovary is actually not that different from anyone else, but it might take a wee while to get back to normal.
Anyway I just wanted to say hi - I really missed posting here and finding out how you were all getting on so hopefully you'll have me back - even though its probably a wee while before we can actually try again.0 -
OMG LemonMelon- Glad you are feeling better! Hope your able to join us properly again soon, have they said how long you need to wait? Glad to hear you sounding so optimistic!
Aless/ QQ- Have a feeling its prob from being PG before, but would be great to be a symptom! Have managed to pack all of my ICs thinking that we were moving next week, I suppose that is one way of avoiding temptation! I have developed a spot on my chin today though, which usually happens within 7 days of AF arriving so think I'm out now anyway.
Now off to try and find a nice winter coat- I haven't bought one for about 10 years, but think I need to treat myself to a decent one that will last.

Congrats for BFPs, hugs to those in need.
Welcome, Aless. I remember you from parent thread before everything went a bit wrong. You too Gemma, now that I'm logged in and can see avatars!
Sorry I've been missing. It seems there are babies and pregnant friends/colleagues everywhere and feeling a bit rubbish about it. PMA took a bit of a knock recently.
Nonetheless, I'm determined that its our turn next so, bought ov sticks, despite the fact last month they just confirmed the date I thought it happened anyway (I seem to have a textbook cycle with ov pains right on day 14) and will start testing Tues (cd12).0 -
Well, I'm back after a couple of days sulking because of CD1. Feeling better now, but P is horrendous this time round... it was a little late so hopefully I'll still be OVing when i get back form holidays so I can jump OH
... plus least I can have some margeritas while Im away
So sad to see you go Lily. Hope youre ok, and that you feel you can come back at some point, you were always so nice, supportive and friendly to everyone. Will deffo miss you. Good luck with the TTC xxxI had no idea when I started ttc in October 2009 that i would still be here now waiting not so patiently for my time to come but I have to keep hoping each cycle that this will be the month for me and remain positive!
Primmer this puts my temper tantrums into perspective! respect to you, and I now have toes and fingers crossed it happens for you soon xxx
hugs mishka xxx
Still catching up...0
