Mine went a bit, just obviously it wasn't all baby :o The worst bit is my old trousers and jeans don't fit yet so I'm still having to wear my maternity jeans :(

Well...... I work full time in a bookies, but in my spare time I make wedding stationery and also I do teddy bear and doll passports - and someone's just asked me to do one for Santa & his elf- to leave behind with the milk & cookies on Christmas morning.

Sneaky link to the pics of the passports (Santa & Elf ones at the end). Just had to set up a new photobucket secret account just for you guys!!
    :rotfl::o
SO cute. :D And feeling very honoured that you went to the trouble of a new acct for little ol' us ;)

I made the mistake of telling MIL about the rag rugs, and now she's told me I have to make her one when I've finished the ones I'm already doing!th_rolleyez.gif

Sexymouse, did we hear about yours yet, or have I not got that far/forgotten I've already congratulated you? :o:p

Yes I think you already congratulated me. I got the job subject to references and medical clearance and CRB check. I was really happy as supply teaching is getting extremely thin on the ground (only 1 afternoon this week and a morning last week) and I need the extra money. However, I've received the offer letter through the post now, and the salary is lower than they advertised, and there is a very negative sounding paragraph about the fact that they are not obliged to offer me work, and there are no minimum hours available, etc etc, so I've written an email (Thursday night) to someone asking them to call me to discuss these, and I've not heard anything back. It is half term this coming week, so don't know if anyone will actually call me then or not as it's a school (although I know some admin staff work during holidays), and the start date on the letter is 1st November. I'm not prepared to sign the offer letter though until I know why the salary is lower etc.

Congratulations to 2b - your job sounds really good. :T

I love your passports - they are very cute!

Well Moon and I failed mission BD the day before yesterday (he couldn't finish again ). We didn't even bother yesterday as it was 2DPO, so I'm now on 2ww. Not feeling that optimistic as we only managed to BD on the first peak on CBFM, and not since.

Hugs to all those with AF visiting. Hugs for emsbet and mishka and all of you who are feeling low or have suffered a loss.

I got the job I wanted and interviewed for yesterday. Yey!

Congratulations! Sounds perfect, obviously this thread is good career luck even if there seems to have been a bit of a run of bad ttc luck...

Which app do you use Sa-ra-ra-ra?
I'm obsessed with having an app for everything on my phone but not got a decent one for TTC yet!!

I use My Days on my android. It's actually quite good :)

Hugs for your drinking too much, but congratulations on your award:T:T:T

Thanks QQ, I was quite pleased - it's an industry one so it's quite good for my career (and future pay negotiations, obviously!).

CD1 for me today - I'm feeling quite rubbish about it. It just feels like a reminder we're starting again now, and we would have been telling people this week as we would have had our scan on Monday and booking appt on Weds.

Mainly hugs with DH for me this weekend I think.

  • Morning all, haven't had a chance to read through yet as on our way out but will come back later.

CD1 for me :-( not a good way to start the weekend, but as it's the weekend oh is going to take me out to TGI Fridays for lunch, and perhaps a spot of shopping, then it's going to be junk food, junk food and a few drinks. Definitely the order of the day!!!

Hope you all have a lovely saturday, and remember to wrap up, it's another freezing day!!!

Good idea, but it might be a good stop gap until you find something better.

    *creeps in sheepishly*

    Hey everyone :o

So, I wiped this morning and there was no spotting, and my temp had gone back up. Since there was no sign of AF I did an IC test and it was BFN but after much umming and ahhing under a lamp I thought there was the faintest, barest smudge of colour where the second line should have been. Decided to do a digi test and all the time thinking to myself 'pah, I'm wasting money, literally dipping money in pee just so I can get a BFN and throw it straight in the bin'. So, imagine my surprise when it came up with 'pregnant, 1-2 weeks'!!

I ran upstairs screaming (9am in the morning) and DH thought I was being murdered or something! Scared the carp out of him! Still have to keep looking at the digi, can't believe it at all!

I know because I've got PCOS I have a higher risk of MC so am going to try to be pragmatic about this at least until 12 weeks. Don't want to let myself get too excited. OK, maybe a bit excited. :D

So, SSing, I've been spotting dark brown since 9DPO, with a (TMI) glob of brighter red yesterday evening (although nothing yet today) and have the vaguest crampy feelings. Also feeling v. tired and a little bit of backache. Well, not even backache, I would call it more feeling like the muscles in the base of my back feel really weak. Other than that, haven't really had any other symptoms. I took soy this month, and have been taking vit B6 and folic but that's it.

Hope you guys don't mind if I hang around lurking here a bit more, :o none of this seems real at all yet!

    xxx
