Glad you are relaxing Emsbet. Hope GP goes well.

So while baby was asleep I have done the grooming bits, and will change into something nice when kids are in bed for the night. Freezer has been raided and we are having scallops and bacon to start, followed by steak with dauphinoise potatoes and green beans with chocolate cheesecake for pud. We have some nice red wine left over from last night to have with the steak and I am planning on bringing out the wedding china and glassware rather than eating on our knees in front of the Telly!
Clean bedding also sorted so hopefully that will all set the mood. If you see me on after 8.30 though you'll know the operation has failed!
Do you have candles in the bedroom and to go with the meal? And nice relaxing music for the bedroom. Get out some oils so you can massage each other. Play strip poker? lol. Nice underewear - jsut a few passing ideas! Steak oh yum!!! Put heating on and cook in your undies and insist he eats in his too :rotfl:I brought hubby some silk red boxers for a laugh and he wears these :D

Sounds like a lovely meal Nicki! We're not very good at having 'dates' then DTD afterwards as we always eat too much and we're too bloated and sleepy for rumpy pumpy! :rotfl:

Rebekah, I bought OH some silk boxers as a joke years ago and he loved them so much he wore them to death! Keep meaning to buy him some more as he was always 'up for it' when he wore them as they felt so nice! ;)

Hope it goes well at the doctor's Emsbet :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Didn't know you had a DS, hope he gets better soon, poor little thing.

Sounds promising about the job! :)

Yes, a just turned 4 year old :D In 'official speak' he is my step son, but he is very much my son despite the fact I didn't give birth to him - and he calls me mummy (his own choice).. which of course delighted me. :D

He obviously lives with us - and I am the at home Mum (my DW has to go to work! I've been part time WFH).... We're in a very difficult situation to most as he has 3 Mums/Moms. (DW is not his biological mum either).

Yup, life is PRETTTTTY complicated here! :D
    Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j
  • Good luck at the doctor Emsbet, hope it all goes ok. x

Aw, that's lovely he calls you mummy. :)

Three mums = three times the love! :)

Well I always say I have two dads - my dad and my stepdad. My stepdad didn't move in with us until I was 13, but he has done more of the dad-like things like drop me into town when I was a teen and pick me up from town when I'd lost my purse etc! :D

Awwww lovely stepdad! Exactly - and double/triple presents! :D:D:D

My mother adores the ground he walks on, she always maintained she was too young/wasn't ready for grandchildren then when DS arrived, she threw herself into being a Nana and spoils him rotten!

Ah, that's sweet, so he has more grandparents too? :)
