BB - I've clearly missed the fact that you got your BFP. Big, big congratulations to you :j:j:j

Emsbet - hope your appointment goes well and I'm sorry your work are being so inconsiderate although sadly I'm not too surprised. My work were awkward with me when I needed time off to have my treatment which was bad enough (the added stress really was not needed) but you'd think people would be a bit more considerate with something as sensitive as a miscarriage.

Everyone else - hugs to anyone that needs it. I hope you're all well. I have read your messages but after a few pages I get very confused with who said what unless I write it all down :D.

As for me - nothing new

    Good luck at doctors Emsbet.

2ba3c that is lovely that your Mother is so good with your son. My OH's parents spoil my kids even though they are not OH's kids.

Sounds like a lovely meal Nicki! We're not very good at having 'dates' then DTD afterwards as we always eat too much and we're too bloated and sleepy for rumpy pumpy! :rotfl:

snap! Your meal sounds fab Nicki but I'd have to save the cheesecake as a "reward" for afterwards or we'd both be full and asleep on the sofa :rotfl:Good luck with "operation seduction" ;)

Yes, a just turned 4 year old :D In 'official speak' he is my step son, but he is very much my son despite the fact I didn't give birth to him - and he calls me mummy (his own choice).. which of course delighted me. :D

He obviously lives with us - and I am the at home Mum (my DW has to go to work! I've been part time WFH).... We're in a very difficult situation to most as he has 3 Mums/Moms. (DW is not his biological mum either).

Yup, life is PRETTTTTY complicated here! :D

It may be complicated, but let's face it, a child can't have too much love! It's great that he can bring joy to so many people.

    Exactly!

I truly wish more people felt like that/understood it that way.

    Flee - that's so lovely.

I grew up with a stepmother (and although we aren't officially talking at the moment, which is another story in itself!!) I still appreciate everything she did for me, everything she gave up - and she is still sending DS birthday presents despite our recent fall out.

Ah, that's sweet, so he has more grandparents too? :)

    Yep!

4 sets of grandparents, 1 set of great grandparents (my Nana!) - 2 stepbrothers, 3 mums (his bio mum has started a new relationship which seems to be going well, so there could be a new stepmum on the block = 4 mums!)

And hopefully one day more brothers/sisters. :D

Whattodonow, I'm a pescatarian (I eat some fish, although not much, but I don't eat meat)....I'm just relieved he didn't shout at the top of his voice that "the lube has arrived", as when we've been going into shops that may sell it... xx

Ha ha! Men have no tact eh? Least he's enthusiastic! Though I suppose where lubes involved most men would be! Lily seems ok thanks, just praying it doesn't happen again. I'm feeding her a bland diet of fish and chicken do she is getting v. Spoilt ATM, although as I'm veggie it kind of grosses me out cooking meat. Do you worry about b-vits or do you think the conception vitamins cover this ok for peeps who don't eat meat?

Is moon a pescetarian too? Do you think you will feed your child/ren meat? I think this is so tricky. I kind of don't want to but my other half doesn't agree. My in-laws wouldn't be too impressed either!
