I've been meaning to ask people that! Do you DTD in the 2WW or not?
He wishes :rotfl:Generally no as I have low sex drive. But I want to try other stuff from intercourse like massages and mm and os. I will leave you to interpret that last 2

emsbet, glad you got sorted for time off - its important you go steady on yourself :)

Im showing all the usual signs of ovulation - its been 2 weeks tomorrow so I guess thats possible ??

Even facebook is laughing at me tonight, The lady who was my midwife for the baby we have just lost is showing up as a "people you may know" on the list at the side, got rid of it several times but she keeps reappearing

2b, we didnt tend to during the 2ww as by then we'd had enough of each other :rotfl:

From what I recall from things I read, you can ov two weeks after the last day of bleeding from the mc.

Boo to fb! That thing is evil sometimes :(

Challenge at the mo is that friends are pushing to get a holiday organised for later next year. I don't want to tell them we are ttc bu also it will be difficult if we do conceive and have to cancel as we will be booking joint accommodation, car etc.

Depends how you feel about travelling with a baby. We took DD to a wedding in Italy when she was 8 weeks and actually, it was easy. We never went out as for some reason I was obsessed with getting her 'to bed' at 6pm instead of taking her out asleep so we could have a meal or something, but I wouldn;t make that mistake again!

So. Work it out. If you got PG this month baby would be born in July.

You say 'later next year' so I'm guessing September/October time? The only danger would be going away when baby actually due, but you *could* stop TTC for the relevant month.

If you really don;t want to go can you invent a family occasion that clashes? Or suggest an earlier holiday, say June, so you'd just be pregnant (possibly. Hopefully) rather than with a baby?

  • Hi all :)

Don't think I've ovulated this month. Last month was our first cycle TTC, I had CM for about 3 days so I assumed that I had OV'd.
BD'd on right days as much as poss, AF turned up as normal on CD28, which was fine.
This month no CM, a friend gave me her OPK's as she is pregnant so I took them too and no +. I'm now on CD19, 20 tomorrow so think I might not have OV'd this month? Is it normal to miss a month?
Obviously before TTC I might not have OV'd every single month but as wasn't keeping a check on CM etc wont really know.

Sorry TMI.....been constipated for a week, which might have to do with coming home from Mexico, change in diet etc. Had dull lower back ache too for about a week. Haven't taken anything for this though. Feeling sorry for myself! OH is on nights and keep texting me to say he misses me which isn't helping with my mood :(

Sorry for the rant, its so not like me to load off but just having one of those weeks! xxxx

Could it not just be that you havent ov'd yet? It could just be delayed not necessarily not happening at all. Id keep doing the opks.

Glad you got the longer sick note emsbet :)

    2b I found this CM pic good/helpful

Mrs Bryan, just cos you haven't noticed ov YET doesn't mean you won't. If you're only recently off the pill it could take a few months to settle down into a more reliable pattern. It seems rare that women are actually "like clockwork" regardless of how long their particular cycle "normally" is, or whether they've been on contraceptive pills etc. Try not to stress - that won't help you ov either! ;)

    to everyone else :)

By no CM do you mean none at all or no EWCM? You don't need EWCM to ov - remember "watery" CM is also fertile. When I got my last BFP I didn't have any EWCM just watery CM. Just make sure you keep up your fluid intake.
Like Zippy said try not to worry about it as ov is affected by stress. Even if you haven't ov'd yet doesn't mean you won't. Also if you don't ov for some reason this month doesn't mean there is a problem it could well just be a one off.

Re:constipation. I can sympathise. I've had it since I went into hospital on Sunday - something to do with the drugs they gave me and the loss of blood/fluid. I was in agony so I took some senokot which did nothing. I felt worse in the morning so called the EPU for some advice. The midwife I spoke to said that senokot was the worst one I could have picked as it can cause griping pain! She suggested I get some lactulose solution from the phamacy. I did and it worked. Maybe go to the pharmacist and ask for something as it will make you feel better. If you want to try the natural route then make sure you drink plenty and maybe try some prune juice. This isn't medical advice BTW just from my own experience ;)

Hope last night went well Nicki :)

I had a really rough evening yesterday. Just couldn't pull myself together at all after realising that it's a week today since we were told Alex's heart had stopped beating. So me and DH went for a walk about 11 last night and that really helped. I finally fell asleep about midnight and slept through until 6:30, but I did have lots of dreams about last week :(

I'm sorry I've gone on again. I feel like 90% of posts this last week have been about me. Sorry if I've taken over the thread and brought the PMA down :o
