Finally caught up, this thread is so popular:shocked:
As for ripping, no matter how you justify it, I don't think I'd like that:(
emsbet, your bruise looks amazing:shocked:
I don't seem to have a visible vein, so I usually get needles stuck in few places before they find one, but it is never as bad as yours:o
Your wedding pic is beautiful. Lovely day too:)
Castle wedding sounds so romantic:happyhear
(((Hugs))) for sleepless nights:o What I do when that happens is to play games on my phone 'till I drop.
Rebekah, your wedding venue is stunning too:) I love the lodge too, looks secluded and great place to relax after the wedding:)
(((Hugs))) for spotting, but you are not out yet:o
And yes, I do get interesting stuff with AF:p
Littlezee, you'll get your BFP soon, I know what it's like to lose a TTC buddy (((hugs))). Remember, I'm still here:p
Jules, hugs for CD1
sexymouse, I'm fine thanks:) Work has been hectic, so it is providing great distraction:o
Hope I'll ov soon, as my record late ov (CD40) is approaching fast:shocked:
Lily, hope you'll get + and your DH will get the job, and your dad will be fine:)
LittleMissGiggle, good things comes to those who wait:cool:0 -
Well he ain't bothered. He was 25 mins late and I felt rushed really. He only wanted to see the current cycle print out. And for me to explain it. He said as it was at the end its just the endometrium all unstable and breaking down. Apparantly the pill has made it unstable. If I knew it would cause issues I wouldn't have gone on it in the 1st place! Felt like wasted his and my time really. Only concerned if it happens at other points in the cycle too.0

True! Frustrating though. As if you look anywhere on line about spotting before period it tells you to do to gp as it could be xyz wrong. Shame the pill destroyed me. That's my biggest regret in life going on that.0

If you are not happy maybe see another doctor or the nurse.
Honestly you cant believe everything they say about the pill because I dont think some doctors are very informed on it at all - I have never heard or read anyone esle say anything about it making your lining break down months after stopping taking it so dont start blaming yourself. I once went to one to explain why I wanted to switch to another type (3rd generation to 2nd) and he had no idea what I was talking about!! I knew more than he did even AFTER he looked it up in a book - and still came to his same wrong conclusion - that the pill I was on was the same as the one I wanted to change to (if it was the same I wouldnt be wanting to try another one would I !!)
So the next week I booked an appt with the nurse, who knew exactly what I meant and gave me a prescription for the new pill.0 -

It is quite impressive isn't it?! Like I said I think the increased heart rate is responsible as I don't usually bruise so much.Your wedding pic is beautiful. Lovely day too:)

Rebekah I just did a google search and came across this thread which you might find interesting - lots of ladies with the same spotting issue - and some of have got baby pics up now including the one who said she was convinced that was why she wasnt getting pregnant
http://www.babyandbump.com/problems-trying-conceive/308100-spotting-before-period-arrives-3.html
and more pregnant ladies on this one!

Maybe your doctor could possibly be getting himself confused and thinking of cervical erosion - which the pill can cause, but once you come off the pill it tends to go back to normal. Wouldnt suprise me!
and this website says its completely normal ( I have read on other websites same as you that there are reasons why it could be happening and to see your gp so there is no harm in a 2nd opinion of course)

So stop stressing out!0 -
I'm feeling quite angry today.
After waiting for someone from my work to get back to me since Monday regarding time off after my mc, someone finally replied today to inform me that as I have been off for 12 days (Inc weekends) I need to be signed off otherwise I will have to self certify for the first week and use my annual leave! Absolutely nothing about compassionate leave or the fact that pregnancy related sickness is not the same as regular sickness. I know I'm no longer pg but surely it's pregnancy related!
Am I just being over sensitive or does this seem harsh? There is no way I'm using my a/l as I only have 10 days remaining until I am made redundant in march and DH and I plan on going on a holiday in January.
I have booked myself an appointment with the doctor tomorrow afternoon but I now feel under pressure to go back in earlier than I feel comfortable with.:( The girl I sit next to is due next month and her last week is next week so I was hoping to stay off at least until she goes. There is also another pg lady at our office and I don't want to feel under pressure to go back and have to see her until I feel I am able to cope and not burst into tears. I am being unreasonable?

I dont think you should feel under pressure. you are allowed a week off before you have to get a docs note I think, so you can ask for one when you go tomorrow to cover that period and also see if compassionate leave can be considered - I mean what else is it for if not for something like this?
I would not be using my annual leave in your situation - youve hardly been sunning it up on a holiday have you! I think perhaps whoever replied to is either a bit of an idiot or just wasnt thinking. And therefore didnt think to mention any compassionate leave etc
Do you have a boss that you can talk to? I used to be good friends with my boss and she was always really understanding about any problems I had outside of work.0
