I really wanted to ask this but felt too insensitive. Did you get to hold him and get some photos?

It's ok my sister asked the same. We didn't hold him he was too small and fragile. They bought him to us all wrapped up in a small dish and he looked like he was in a little bed :o
We didn't take photos. We wanted to see him to get some closure and say goodbye but we didn't want pictures as like I said to QQ it was just his body, his soul was already in a better place. We have the scan pictures from when we saw him alive and he waved to us (DH says he was waving goodbye which I love) and this is how we like to remember him :o

My pregnancy was ectopic, I had to have emergency surgery, not good news after either, surgeon said one tube lost and the other badly damaged so no chance of concieving again naturally!!

    I'm so sorry 2ttbc (((hugs))):(

I hope the damaged tube still works (will they be testing it?), but if not, having done one IVF, it was not as hard as I had thought it would be. It was very easy in fact. So if it comes to that, don't worry, it just adds extra month of morning sickness...

 Hi, think you mean me.

I'll let you know how it goes if this is BFP but I don't think it is. My EDS specialist said that when I do get pregnant I will probably have more pain especially around the hips. There are other problems but not everyone gets them such as increased miscarriages, early labour, quick labour etc. I also have to tell the doctor when I get pregnant that I have EDS, I am not sure if I get extra scans or something. She didn't say why I had to tell the doctor.

I still don't know what is happening, I am now 32DPO and the two tests at 19 and 21DPO were BFN. I am debating whether to test again or wait until I am supposed to have my next AF. I just wish AF would start so my EDS can stop hurting so much. I have to have help getting off the sofa and turning in bed is so painful.:o
My HMS flares at/around ovulation too, I've noticed. Could it be that? What makes you think you are xDPO, have you been charting, or...? What level it's your Eds? Do you "just" dis locate joints, or vessels too - I suspect that would be what they would be most concerned about in pregnancy...? It has been suggests that I may need a c section, to avoid hip dislocation during labour/delivery (if we get that far, God willing), but there are issues with my reduced recovery time for that too, and how well (poorly!) I heal/scar tissue in the uterus etc... Has anyone said anything like that to you?

  • Hello ladies, a very quick post from me and a big apology I haven't had a chance to read back.

Sorry I didn't come back in Friday and let you know, I got admitted to hospital and after an ultrasound and ct scan I have a huge mass filling my abdomen. They think its from an ovary (they can only see a bit of one of them) but its so big its hard to tell. I'm just waiting for an operation to take it out, find our what it is (just a cyst or something else) and desperately hoping they can save at least one of my ovaries.

Hope you are all well and I will catch up properly soon x

Lemonmelon - i'm so sorry to hear your news, and have everything crossed for you that the op finds as un-serious a cause as possible - it must be a very worrying and stressful time for you hun ((hugs)).
My colleague's wife recently had an enormous cyst on one of her ovaries, and had to had that ovary removed, but the other one is functioning fine and they say that she should still be able to have children naturally fine. Anyway, all the best for the op, and hope you get to go home soon. xx

2TTB3 - sorry to hear your sad news too :( I hope you and your OH are doing ok. Look after yourself :grouphug:

Triangle -have you tested?! I haven't...my temp was still high though, which is promising, obviously. However, I checked my cervix position and found a tiny bit of brown blood...so I'm not in a rush to test, I think AF might just be arriving a bit late. :o

Back later, everyone have a ((hug)), look after yourselves and eat cake :)
