Thanks emsbet. He certainly doesn't act that much older - he's currently downstairs watching cbbc! :rotfl: What games have you bought to play? I like a good boardgame.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

They are the card versions of Boggle and Monopoly to take with us tomorrow. I also have monopoly on my iPad which I will take with us.
If anybody has an iPad/iPhone and can recommend any good two player games (preferably board games or quiz type games) I can download to keep us occupied tomorrow I'd be grateful.

    xx

I don't have an i-pad or phone, but I'm sure they must do games like scrabble and draughts/checkers or chess (I don't know how to play this either).

    morning everyone :)

I'm not very high tech Emsbet but I like playing battle ships and cards to pass the time. reminds me of rainy childhood caravan holidays in north wales:). If you've got the time and money maybe start searching for a holiday? I know it;s trivial compared to losing a baby but it is lovely to have something to look forward to and a bit of time to yourselves. Is there anywhere you've always wanted to go? x

DH said today "I know we're not supposed to be thinking and talking about and focusing on it....but I can't help it, I really really really want a baby :(" ...bless him :o:A I can't help but feel responsible sometimes... :o

shush, we'll have no talk like that on this board :o. It's never anyone's "fault" some are just luckier than others. I think QQ should bring out the finger wagging smiley for this too :)

We were thinking of taking a weekend away in a month or so and then also of getting away somewhere warm in January (when DH's leave starts again). It depends on finances though as I'm due to lose my job in march and as I won't be getting mat leave now we have to be careful in case I can't find a job.

Morning all, why oh why am I here so early and not even on a work day?! (my cats woke me up, and then I remembered that the rugby was on so thought I might as well get up...crazy lady

sounds like my morning! cat woke me up by poking me in the face which is his way of saying "breakfast, woman!" so fed him and then turned the telly on.

sounds like a good plan, do you get the groupon emails? we've had some nice bargain breaks from there :money:. somewhere warm in Jan sounds lovely, it always comes down to bloody money though. don't know where our is going at the moment (probably on "bargain" groupon deals :D). Did you hear the euromillions winner is in the UK, I hope it's my mum :rotfl:

We play scrabble and Countdown (exactly the same as the TV programme) on mine. Sometimes Pacman too, if you are old enough to remember that!

Huge hugs today. I think you are sensible to stay close to home just in case. Good luck for tomorrow and I hope it isnt too terrible.
