Perhaps I should aim for 19th October at 14DPO then?
That's more sensible, but can you resist the urge?:D
    I'll put you down for 19th anyway:p

My OH is 12 years younger than me. But he is "the one."

Big age gap that just does not exist. OH is very old headed in comparison to me.
Can you tell that I find it uncomfortable with being the older one in the relationship. :)
My sister's BF is 14 years younger than her, and I know at least 4 long time happily married couples with 14-16 year age gap (wife older, and all 1st time marriages).

You know SS is terrible really, because even if you have no symptoms then you start thinking 'Well maybe Im just one of those people who have no symptoms...maybe Im one of those people who have AF all through their pregnancy...maybe Im one of those people who have their baby on the loo when theyre 9 months gone because they had no idea because they even put on any weight or anything and now theyre on the telly talking about it!' :rotfl:
He he, we all do that:o

when you're pregnant but still ovulate and conceive another baby, so end up with babies due at different times!
I've heard that too, they are born at the same time though:o

I'm just trying to see how easy it is to post a reply from my phone (while I'm lying here with my legs in the air after BDing, lol, I get bored easily) My dh is 47, 9 years older than me, he doesn't have children already, says he has never wanted them before, my new wee niece has a lot to answer for!

So sad to hear your news Emsbet :(

    Welcome to the newbies

Congratulations to Kaemi...and I think there was another one that snook in...? :o

To the lady who popped in with EDS - I've got hypermobility too, which also flares around AF, and would be interested to hear how you get on with pregnancy -whether this cycle is your BFP or not :)

DH said today "I know we're not supposed to be thinking and talking about and focusing on it....but I can't help it, I really really really want a baby :(" ...bless him :o:A I can't help but feel responsible sometimes... :o

Be kind to yourself. I'm sure your DH doesn't think you're responsible and I'm sure he would hate for you to feel that way.

Morning all, why oh why am I here so early and not even on a work day?! (my cats woke me up, and then I remembered that the rugby was on so thought I might as well get up...crazy lady)

emsbet - you are signed in and were still on here at 2.05am! Struggling to sleep? big ((hugs)), the night can seem very long sometimes can't it :o

bigzippy - I know how you feel RE DH and feeling responsible, and it's hard to get away from that feeling - but try not to blame yourself. :grouphug: BTW, nice to see you! I should lurk for a week, really, to try and forget about TTC whilst in the 2ww....!

RE younger DHs, I think it's probably a good idea! Especially as you get older, because men do have a tendency to become "grumpy old men" just as women are in their prime! Maybe I'll have to switch to a younger model in later life ;):p
I think the reason its more common for the man to be older than the woman is that if they meet quite young, men are usually more immature so girls have to go for a slightly older guy just to be able to hold a sensible conversation, lol!

11DPO for me.....although can't help thinking that it could be 12DPO as I wasn't entirely certain that FF got it right. Temp took a bit of a dip this morning though - however the dip was nowhere near as pronounced as last cycle on 11DPO, and the temp is still well above the cover line....fingers crossed :o

BB I didnt get to sleep until 4:30ish for a couple of hours but didn't want to look like a nutter talking to myself so didn't post anymore ;) Had maybe 3/4 hours sleep on and off. Didn't really want to sleep as I didn't want to forget and wake up and remember it all again :o:(
DH was really struggling last night so I held him until he slept but I'd had a nap earlier in the evening and so wasn't tired.
I'm just waiting for tomorrow so we can say goodbye and start to move on.

Fingers crossed for you. When are you testing?

bless you emsbet :o I know what you mean about forgetting something then remembering all over again :(
I hope tomorrow is as easy for you as can be expected. The grieving process is one of those weird things that is different for everyone, so don't be afraid to feel however you want/need to feel, if that makes sense? Def take a bit of time off work if you think it will help.
((hugs)) to you and to your DH too :o

have you got anything planned for today, to try and maybe distract you both a tiny bit?

thanks for the crossed fingers, I'm not sure when I'm gonna test...! My LP varies from 12 to 14 days, so 14DPO would be tuesday. However, I'm not sure I want to test then go straight to work, so might try to hold out until saturday...that's blatantly not gonna happen though!
having said that, I'm still getting AF-type cramps fairly regularly, so I'm not getting my hopes up too much :o

My DH is 17.5 years older than me. He's never had children before either. This is why he's worrying at the moment that there may be something wrong with "his boys" as I've not fallen pregnant yet. He was talking the other day about going to the doctor to get tested, but I told him that they won't even think about anything until we've been trying for a year. I also told him that it was just as likely that there could be a problem with me, or even both of us. 4 cycles to go then.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Thank you. I don't know what we are going to do as I know I may go crazy just sitting around but I don't want to go too far as sometimes you can pass the baby before the second tablet (sorry if that's TMI for anyone) and I don't want that to happen while we are out and about. Perhaps we may go somewhere for lunch but I'm not sure. We have some games we bought yesterday thatnwe could play.

Maybe just see how your temps go and then decide when you want to test. If they are looking good I would test tuesday morning. Don't give up hope yet . When I got this BFP I was convinced AF was on her way due to cramping but that just happens often in early pg. I'm keeping everything crossed for you and really hope it's your turn this month.

I vaguely remember seeing your wedding pictures on the wedding board and I never would have guessed there was that much of an age gap! (hope I don't offend you with that comment, I just mean he looks young not you look old :o).
Fingers crossed you will get your BFP before you have to go for tests.
