Spotting started this morning as I predicted, which means AF will be here tomorrow or the next day. If that wasn't bad enough, my best friend sent me a picture message with a picture of her little girl dressed up in a t-shirt saying "I'm going to be a big sister" and the message that baby number 2 is due in April! Luckily I'm not teaching this afternoon, and I read the message after I left the school I was in this morning, as I've been bawling ever since! I feel like an awful friend, as I should be really happy for her, but it just doesn't seem fair! She always said growing up that she didn't want children, and then she said that they wouldn't be trying for another baby until November either.

(((Hugs))) sexymouse. Don't feel bad about being upset, it's a natural reaction when you are TTCing I think. You will probably feel better about it in a few days. xxx

AFM, I've lost ALL motivation and seem to be on a bit of a downward spiral. I started smoking again :o - and I'm eating really badly and generally not taking care of myself. (of course I KNOW none of this is helping re TTC) .... Self destruct button really has been well and truly pushed and Im sure I am pushing DW to her limits.

This TTC malarky is one of the biggest emotional rollercoasters I have ever been on and I went on one hell of one last year through an ongoing legal battle for months - that was NOTHING in comparison!

Thankfully, DW and I have a very strong relationship, and I'm not worried about US and the ups and downs at all, but I can now see why some relationships fall apart.

I have no doubt I'll get back on the horse - but I think I just need to wallow for a bit.

(((Hugs))) to you too. It is def an emotional rollercoaster. xxx
This is just annoying me now. And I feel sick because I ate too much for lunch [/grump]

More (((hugs))) going to you too! xxx

So long as it's not AF, I hate AF:o

I think I'd prefer AF. At least that's supposed to happen :)
  • well, im back from vets and its a complete mystery. They did tests on her but the vet is completely confused. She suggested it could be our other cat thats ill, but im 99% sure its our cat (lily) that we took in whos the ill one, for numerous reasons I wont bore you all with! Just told us if its happens again to take pictures and a sample in and then they'll do more rigorous tests. Bit worried as it was a LOT of blood, like an explosion. Anyhow now have her snuggled on the bed with me, she seems pretty normal so fingers crossed its just a wierd blip. Thanks everyone for support :)

Well I'm a wreck this afternoon! Spotting started this morning as I predicted, which means AF will be here tomorrow or the next day. I feel like an awful friend, as I should be really happy for her, but it just doesn't seem fair! She always said growing up that she didn't want children, and then she said that they wouldn't be trying for another baby until November either. I called Moon at work, and cried all over him. He feels awful too, and keeps talking about going and getting tested, but we've only been trying for 7 cycles. I know it can take up to a year to concieve, and the doctor will probably tell us to come back then, so I don't think there's much point going to see anyone yet.

Totally understand this, I think everyone must feel this way when a friend/relative has the news. You just have to be positive and keep a lid on it... And remember for when you have the news - which you will! -, you'll probably be telling someone who will feel exactly the same as you do now, probably wise for us ladies to keep in mind!

    Hi everyone :hello:
Have lots of cm today again (3 days in a row) so lots of bding to be done.

Only problem is OH is really sore and so am I. Think we have thrush:mad:

Which means having to get some caneston cream, will this affect conception? I am currently very fertile and trying to BD as much as possible. But OH is in pain during sex.

    What should I do?

yeah lots of BD-ing can lead to thrush. Sorry can't advise RE fertility but for next time lots of lube can prevent it! Got some preseed the other day, seems good!

    b_girl, have you ov'd?:)

    Hi :)

Nope not yet :( had sticky then creamy CF but for the last few days have only been getting watery CF with nothing else - is this normal?

*TMI* but have been monitoring my cervical position this month and it was low and closed yesterday and soft and high today so at least that's something. Also had a temp dip this morning but have taken an OPK about 10 mins ago and it's negative

    I guess it's just a waiting game now :o

Trying to live a good life on little money :T

Went to chemist and they advised to use cream and a pessary. So ended up with both which r both safe for pregnant and ttc women. But I will check with doctors tomorrow as well, which they also advised. Going to BD tonight and then apply cream. Then on Friday I will use pessary. Which gives my body chance to capture sperm.
