Massive massive congratulations jovichick!!! What a fantastic week for you!

CD14 here today, have had OV pain today and VERY watery CF with a tiny bit of egg white. OPK is a negative though. I feel like I'm on tenterhooks waiting for OV this month as I think this month will be my first OV since before I went on the injection (about a year ago)...so far everything is looking good though so going to try not to worry. Will just keep up with the BDing and hope for the best :)

:mad::mad: Just got back. I HATE doctors and gynaecologists most of all. Having asked what our plans were after the miscarriage, and being told that we wanted to try again, the f*ing imbecile, asked how old I was, referred to our previous difficulties in conceiving, then leaned back in his chair, and said "well it wouldnt be the end of the world if you never had another baby"

I am not sure on what planet he thought that was a sensible thing to say to a woman less than a month after a miscarriage  My OH literally had to hold me back from ripping his testicles off and stuffing them down his throat. As it was I muttered, "Not the end of the world for you, obviously" and he looked completely shocked.

He then said, that he hoped we would conceive again quickly but if we did there was no guarantees that we would be able to carry the child to term, but to make an appointment as soon as we knew for an early assessment of the pregnancy.

In and out in about 5 minutes and nearly 3 hours later I am still seething....

I'm just sorry that your OH was there to stop you!

What a complete and utter tactless thing to say...though I dont usually expect anything else from doctors as a whole.

I hope you prove him wrong and it all happens again soon for you... can you change your doctor...I wouldnt want to go back to him when it's for all the good parts of pg.

    Hugs.

Nicki - well done for not thumping him !

Well it's month 1 of TTC. CD1. AF is making my feel cr*p, just want to curl up but I'm too busy to do that.

CBFM switched on this morning - although not sure why as you can start it on day 5 of your cycle. My cycle tends to be 26/27 days so I cam expecting my peak around 14 October - is that right? OH could be in for a good weekend then!

Here's to a fertile month across the group.

    xx

Just couldn't wait could I......negative First Response Early this afternoon - I am such an idiot - that's a tenner on a 2 test pack Im not going to get back , one test retained for in a weeks time if still no AF - consider myself suitably chastised for being such an imbecile.....

Ooops I also did a sneaky test today..... its so tempting isnt it, although only used a supermarket cheapy...and got a BFN for my troubles!

I think its still early days - am expecting AF tomorrow morning, but if not I will wait a few more days before another test. If calcs are correct, Im about 13/14 days past ov so if jovichicks BFP is anything to go by, I've got a few more days yet before anything might even show up.

Much more PMA today and just hoping for the best... if not will just get the opks back out and try again! :)
  • (((Hugs))) to Nicki and all those feeling generally carp - Nicki, you really need to consider making a serious complaint - what an insensitive !!!!!! your doctor sounds like

Well, we've done the digi and it's definately confirmed - Pregnant - 1-2 weeks. I think seeing it in words helps both me and OH to believe it is actually happening :o Both been in denial all day!

To those who have tested today and got a BFN, I got three of them last week so please don't give up hope :)

Just wanted to thank you all again for your super advice and support :)

You are all amazing and I wish SBDTA :A
  • Hi ladies, I could do with a bit of help please?

I took a pregnancy test this morn, waited the 3 minutes specified and it was negative.

Was emptying my bathroom bin a mo ago, and the same test was showing positive. I read the box again and it says "read the result no more than 15 mins after doing the test." Is the fact that it showed positive 7 hours after taking the test to do with the fact that I read the result for a second time after 15 mins, or could I actually be pregnant?

Well following on from my earlier posts on page 155, I took another test today after "feeling pregnant" (can't explain it, but I sort of just knew) and the second line came up after about 2 seconds...so I am pregnant according to that anyway!

Not really prepared for that result, given we've only been trying since mid-August, so I've been panicking, though my husband is as cool as a cucmber about it!
