Being a stats geek now. Found this on babycenter.com

    • 30 percent get pregnant the first cycle (about one month)
    • 59 percent get pregnant within three cycles (about three months)
    • 80 percent get pregnant within six cycles (about six months)
    • 85 percent get pregnant within 12 cycles (about one year)
    • 91 percent get pregnant within 36 cycles (about three years)
    • 93 to 95 percent get pregnant within 48 cycles (about four years)
I may be turning into a one woman mission to convince myself and anyone who wants to listen that its okay not to fall in the first few cycles, everyone works in different ways. This is my 6th cycle now but realistically this is only my 3rd where my hormones have seemed in any way balanced since coming off implanon, the first 3 had short luteals and very random OV times. Being less stressy about it as time goes on, helps me stay sane although DH is worried I'm going to loose my marbles and seems to think I'll loose my marbles if it doesn't happen soon to the extent he's starting hiding any fiction books with babies in them. I laughed at him as it really isn't getting to me at the moment, everything happens for a reason is a mantra of mine, and maybe the reason isn't clear (or maybe God is telling us to sort out our damned finances!).

I love these stats, thank you.

OH I wanted to add, I do have my moments of woe is me, why hasnt it happened yet, but I am of the same camp in that I firmly believe things happen for a reason Kaemi.

I think must of us are on a downer atm. Stupid AF's and miserable weather that is not putting us in the mood for anything.

Here's hoping October is a fertile month for us all.

Pick yourself up and start again is what I told myself last weekend.

Thanks Flee :) Yep, got to get some early nights cosying up under the duvet BDing! :D

Hi lovely TTC ladies.... so I got home from work an decided to do a Clearblue test since I decided I couldn't hold on 'till tomorrow (can't believe I waited this long, v proud of my patience for once!), and there was a positive if you squinted and held it up to the light; all very ambigious. This was infuriating, so we did an emergency supermarket trip and bought some digis, the expense went out of the window at this stage.... anyway I gave OH a cup of wee (romance isn't dead after all) and he did it because I was shaking/couldn't concentrate and we got a "pregant 1-2". Am still in shock and having rollercoaster emotions but most desperately want to share with loved ones but know we musn't. I wanted to say thankyou to you all. I feel like I'm in another world looking at myself right now and can't quite believe what has happened. You are such a lovely bunch xx

Brilliant news Pistachio! :j Congratulations! :T That did make me laugh about passing your OH a cup of wee. :rotfl:

Lily, I hate it when washing machine breaks. Hope there were not much mess:(
Glad the phone is OK:) Not everything comes in threes:)

It was on the spin cycle thankfully so no mess. DH took it round his mum's to spin as it was all sopping wet. We're off to look for a new one after work tonight. Shouldn't complain really as it was DH's grandad's old one and is over 10 years old! :o
