TeamLowe - Thanks for the info re: blue dye tests. I was given them and it's the first time I've used them. To be honest, i havn't been all that impressed. The 'cross' feature isn't all that brilliant I don't think. It's very easy to misread...!

I only have digi's now. I'll see what my temp does tomorrow and may test - the scrooge in me doesn't want to buy any more! Lol

    TMI ALERT

Oooer. I am a bit worried. I'm sorry if this is tmi, but I have lots of cm that is the colour and consistency of wallpaper paste. I feel very 'dry' down there, but if I put my fingers in (really sorry for the details) it's like all pastey. I've never had anything like this before. Any ideas?! :S

Lilymay maybe try the tesco own brand test if you don't want to spend too much they are around £3.50 for two tests and use pInk dye.

Lily... I want to prevent any SSing before it happens so I definitely encourage you NOT to go to babyandbump or any of the other sites where they list this as a *possible* sign of conception ;)

Having said that, fingers crossed, hope AF stays away and use one of your digis in a day or two!

Binky - Thanks for the info about tests.

Amy - I promise I am not ss'ing. I really, really don't think i have caught this cycle but thanks for the info. To be honest, I was more concerned it might be a sign of infection :S (Although clearly I am going to go and investigate that website now! Lol) xx

Awww, I know you're too well behaved to SS Lily :) On a serious note though, I don't think you need to be too concerned about infection unless you're itchy / smelly - but if it's in any way worrying you then your GP or practice nurse should be able to help.

If you're really convinced it's not pg symptoms then I'm sorry if I directed you to one of the crazy-people sites for nothing (some of the posters on babyandbump are ) but I'm still quietly hopeful and if not this month, then very soon.

Lol glad I'm it the only one who looks on that site and thinks geez Louise! Lol it's got a ttc after loss part which I liked for a while but it's just as crazy as the rest if it 'I'm 3dpo and I didn't fancy chicken for tea could I be pregnant?'
    Mental that place. Mental x

LOL. Wow, think I'll stay away! I know TTC can make you a bit desperate/crazy but you guys make it sound like a funny farm over there!! :rotfl::rotfl:

To be fair, the only reference to 'pastey' CM I could find was the point in your cycle after AF has stopped and before you start to getting EWCM - so like CD6 or 7.
I am cramping quite badly this evening so I guess AF may start overnight? What ever way I look at this cycle, i have had my longest LP yet which is great :)

Oh yeah Babyandbump is definitely scary people territory. When I mentioned tweaking tests the other night I meant I'd tilted the screen a bit and zoomed in on the pic, over there they tweak tests from about 3dpo turning it blue and altering contrast and brightness and anything else they can do to make a line appear lol x
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
