Trying for a Baby Part 7

I'm going to be keeping a low profile & going a bit quiet for a while. Just had news of a work colleague's pregnancy. She's always said she doesn't want kids. I held her hand as she wept last month telling me that she'd fu%$&d up last month and had a one night stand while her husband was away. I watched her take the morning after pill - both of them. I got a phonecall about half an hour ago. She's in floods of tears. Three positive tests - she's booked an appointment at the clinic tomorrow.

My head's not in the right place to be posting on this thread at the moment...

hah i know, i just didn't want to put the baby down, too gorgeous to stare at sounds awful but i couldn't tell the gender! about 4/5months old so just looked like a baby and neutral clothing, darn dream me for not sticking to gender stereotypes! lol had blonde hair too, which is odd cos both me and dh are dark and always have been, blonde would be a shock lol

thanks for the info too, does make me wonder sometimes if i'm willing my temperature to go up so it does, like a placebo effect iyswim, will have to see what gynae says in less than a month now, thank christ, been waiting aaaages! lol

also, out of curiousity, how soon after Ov does cm dry up? i was having some crystal clear EWCM, i was well impressed, then had a deep feeling on my right side like when you hear a bass drum, although after my scan i know wonder if that's gas, but after that i've just been to the loo and it's gone all clumpy, didn't think it would dry up that quick!
probably have loads more now tonight but meh. BDed wednesday so there should be swimmers around who have capacitated or whatever the word is x x

Thanks. Whilst I don't envy her (she's absolutely devastated) it doesn't seem fair that she slips up once.... that's what's bringing me down.

Off to meet her now. I need to put being a good friend ahead of my own opinions.

ok remaining ladies, this may not be the time for this, but can someone slap me please. I really feel like I might be pregnant. I have no evidence or symptoms out of the ordinary to back this up (sore boobs, feeling nauseated, nearly threw up after running for the train, tired, grumpy, weeing all the time and cramps on my right side - but those could be anything)and i refuse to pee on anything at 8dpo. Just cant stop thinking I am. Someone slap me before I upset myself.

Hi all,

Hugs for COMP and Gemmzie - hope your bouth ok.

May not be the place for this, but I am still giggling about it (purely for the stupidity factor) - a work colleague (one of the handful that knew about the Eptopic) has just asked me whether I have lost any weight since I had an 'organ' removed!!!!

Maybe it's just me but I can't seem to stop laughing about it.

Code - AF and preg symptoms pretty much the same, so best thing to do is to try to take your mind off of it (I know, easier said than done) until it's time to POAS. I really do hope it means you have got your BFP tho.
