  • Big hugs Comp and Gemmzie :)

Well thats my AF stopped for this month (3 days) normally its shorter so i am thinking this is a good sign.

Soooooo now thats over, that leaves me thinking when i will ov, as i dont have any testing kits etc i will be guessing. Still its perked me up a bit knowing that i can try again soon and that before long it will be the end of the month again! how sad am i wishing my life away!

Isnt it wierd that when i wasnt TTC i never really saw pregnant women and babies etc now that i am i see them all the time.. just shows how much attention i paid before lol.

Wishing everyone a nice weekend... Sun still shining and for those of us that can a few drinkies await :D xxx

    Hi all,

Hugs for COMP and Gemmzie - hope your bouth ok.

May not be the place for this, but I am still giggling about it (purely for the stupidity factor) - a work colleague (one of the handful that knew about the Eptopic) has just asked me whether I have lost any weight since I had an 'organ' removed!!!!

Maybe it's just me but I can't seem to stop laughing about it.

Code - AF and preg symptoms pretty much the same, so best thing to do is to try to take your mind off of it (I know, easier said than done) until it's time to POAS. I really do hope it means you have got your BFP tho.

nhs sometimes its best to laugh.

    hehe its like reverse ssing.

stupid part brain: I feel sick. I dont normally feel sick at lunchtime.Thats a pregnancy sign.
clever part of brain: perhaps you ate something bad.
spob: nope. havent done that. I need to pee on a test now.
cpob: you're 8dpo !!!!!!. You feel sick for a variety of reasons, none of them pregnancy related. Its probsbly because you had a bacon roll for breakfast. Now shut up.
spob (mutinously): I think its pregnancy.
    cpob: Its not!
    (and so on)

Have a slap from me Code! ;) Even though I tested yesterday I'm still half convinced I'm PG, I just know I'm going to buy another test after work to make sure that, yes, the first test was right and I'm not having a baby! :o

Huge hugs for COMP, must be so hard standing by your friend through this, the raffle analogy from the other day seems so fitting today doesn't it? :(

Hope you're OK Gemmzie, if you want to get anything off your chest you know there are loads of sympathetic ears (eyes?) here that'll support you :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Just had a letter from the FS - well, a copy of the letter he's sent to my GP. Obviously most of it is things I've heard before - results of hycosy were fine, pretty bad PCOS confirmed, given clomid and metformin (so far so good). Then it says about OH's SA "this has shown very low sperm concentration which was 1.1 million/ml with 86 of the sperm not moving and they are likely to be dead."

:( I knew the SA was bad but they didn't have all the results at our last appt and I didn't realise it was that bad. Does the 86 mean 86%?

It then goes on to say that the PCOS can be treated (with the meds) and that if I'm not pg in 4-5 months they'll see us in a male infertility clinic.

I always just assumed that as I'd got endo and PCOS the problems were with me. But surely if they want to see us in a male infertility clinic it's not looking good? Am dreading showing OH the letter as I know he won't react well. I know I'm jumping ahead of myself here but I can't ever imagine him agreeing to donor sperm or anything like that.

Sorry for the essay, this has just really thrown me and it now seems like the tiniest little chance that it will ever happen.

i can't help tea lover but big hugs your way, must be such a smack in the face :(
how do they count the sperm in the first place? even if it's 86% that's still leaves like 200,000 and it only takes one :)

    Hello girls:wave:
CD13, time to stop wearing the eye mask at night:)
    Am on ov watch now:j

Knowing DH, last BD was Saturday, so next one should be coming up soon. He has something on Saturday night, so it will probably be tonight or Sunday.

OPKs are getting slightly darker, I'd say I'll ov around CD18-22:cool:

codemonkey, hope the pg leaflet is a sign (((hugs)))
But no SSing. bacon roll or not:naughty:
mogwai, have a nice break from ttc:wave:
JoJoB, I can't see your chart.
You may need to set up the homepage.

Go to 'Sharing' on the top - 'Charting Home page' then 'Setup'.
Near the bottom, there's 'Published charts'.
Click your chart on the right box, and add it to the left and 'Save settings'

On the top of that page in the grey box is your homepage address (looks something like this:http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/286900)
    TeamLowe, that's a sweet dream:happyhear
Gemmzie, (((hugs))). See you back soon:wave:
atton, why do you have to cancel the wedding because your OH failed his exams? Are there any refunds?
    Can't he retake the exams?
    Comp, (((hugs))).
    You are a good friend:o
Needhelpsaving, :o. Glad you are giggling about it, sounds like you have recovered from the mc.
teaandcupcakes, when I was single, I saw couples everywhere. When I got the engagement ring, I saw rings everywhere. Now pg people:o I wonder what's next?
Tea lover, was it just the one SA he's done? The results may be better next time?
PCOS is not in itself an infertility, it's just that we may have problem oving. Once one ov's, you have the same chance as everybody else. Victoria Beckham and Mrs Jamie Oliver has it.

Were there a name for his infertility? My DH's is Asthenoteratozoospermia.
