  • Quick question (again lol). I've been getting darker lines on the opk - not quite as dark as the test line but very nearly so think I should be bding tonight. Husbands just got back from the pub and is quite tiddly (& annoying), plus I believe that he has erm tmi already relieved himself (judging by the tv being on a rude channel when I got home). Sooooooo I don't think he's up to dtd & with the day I've had at work today & not feeling too well would it be ok to bd tommorrow night instead - or would that put us out of the game?:(

Dh wants me to do a test in the morning, so of course now I'm getting my hours up and thinking about what if s

We're also meeting friends of ours tomorrow for lunch... They got married the day before us, and are now 10wks pregnant... I'm not sure how I'm gonna be able to handle it if we get another Bfn in the morning :o

I also forgot to say happy birthday to bb, and saggy granny pants to the cd1s, and good luck to the testers/2ww-ers

Can feasibly only try a few more months cos of my advancing years so wanted to do all I can. Sorry for rant, off to work now!!

    Good morning:wave:

Fannyanna, how was Mamas and Papas? I only go in when alone:o
    I think I'd like a white nursery:happyhear
Rebekah, that's not stupid, it's :money:
2 becoming 3, nice dinner sounds great. I'd tell him soon:)
emmylou, you are going to have a baby boy!:j That's lovely:happyhear
Bigzee, good luck testing. As for your friend, she's still 10 weeks, you can catch up with her soon:)
Rebekah, that's an amazing shot of the thunder:shocked: I've tried capturing it, but was never successful:o And the double rainbow is beautiful:happyhear

As for feeling like AF is coming, if you do end up pg, I hope you are ready for feeling like that for the next 9 months:D
2ba3c, yipee for your donor!:j Hope this one is it for you:)
    scarly big hugs for AF
    smiley_hug.gif
Your time is coming very soon, it's been 6 months, the odds are, you'll catch the eggy this cycle:o
Hope you had an evening of great excess:EasterBun
As for soy isoflavones, for you, I'd say (this is not a medical advice, only a suggestion from a non professional) something like 80-100mg/night on CD3-7. That is the lowest dosage, and the days are the days people tend to get pg with.

I took 100mg CD5-9 this cycle, because clomid didn't work on CD2-6 on the 7 cycles I tried, so decided to go to the other extreme:D

For example, Holland and Barratts has them, it says 750mg but only contains 23mg of isoflavones, so in this case you can take 4 tabs (92mg). Tesco ones I think contains 40mg, so you can take 2 (80mg).

You should take them in the night after meals in case of side effects. Some people take them before going to bed, so they can sleep off any side effects. (I don't have any side effects so I take them with lunch).

If you want to go the whole hog, then I'd change the Vit B6 to Vit B100 complex, as Vit Bs works better with other Vit Bs.

You can stop AC and EPO this cycle if you are taking Soy Iso, you don't have to, but I think you are taking a bit too much:o Soy should help with ewcm. Good luck.

Oh, another thing, a lot of people get pg on their 1st cycle with Soy, but some get pg on their 2nd, so I'd try it for 2 cycles.

Secretdebts, BD today is fine:) You won't ov just yet. It'll be more like 36hrs after +OPK:)

    Jules68, any ov SS?

Morning all. Hope everyone is well today and feeling lots of PMA.

I think I OV'd yesterday so 1DPO for me. Fingers crossed that we've caught it. DH was funny the other night. He was shouting "go sperms go!" after we DTD. He's really excited, bless him.

I was looking at the HPT's in Superdrug yesterday. Was going to buy some in readyness but I just couldn't bring myself to in case I jinxed things. To be honest, I can't decide whether to set a date for testing (could do it before I go back to work after my hols which would be nice) or just wait and see whether AF arrives. I don't know whether it would a waste of a test plus possibly a big dissappointment to test before I had an inkling that it would actually be positive. Oh well, I'm going to try not to think about it too much.

On the subject of weight loss, mine is going in the wrong direction. I should really be losing and I did have a good couple of weeks but I think I've gone into holiday mode already and I've put 2lbs on this week!!! Not good. Especially when I've got a weeks all inclusive holiday to come. DH is not helpful as he keeps saying "oh well, you're eating for two now anyway". No I'm not! My BMI is currently 28 so not tooooo bad but I'd like to get down to 25 to be a bit healthier.

    Have a good day everyone.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Hi everyone
    Can I join you please?

Have been TTC#1 since about June with no luck. I was on the Depo injection for 9 months and when I was due to have my next injection at the start of May, DH and I decided we'd not have it so we could start getting ready to TTC. Until August my cycles were all over the place and I had random bleeding, which I was expecting. However, the last 2 cycles seem to have been much more normal (about 26days each) with normal bleeding at the end...however I've not ovulated at all since I started charting my cycles 2 months ago.

This month my CF was showing all signs of leading up to OV, had creamy then eggwhite etc but my temperatures don't reflect this, they are up and down with no thermal shift. Quite disappointed but trying not to dwell on it.

Anyway, have some spotting this morning, think signalling the end of this cycle as am on CD25.

Sorry for rambly post, have so many thoughts in my head about this and will be nice to speak to others TTC :o

Trying to live a good life on little money :T
  • Hi B-girl. Welcome!! I also missed my depo shot at the beginning of May and I'm ovulating for the first time this month (think it will be either today or tomorrow). So I think we must be about the same! I couldn't get on with the temping as mine were always all over the place too so I'm using the opk sticks. I've not got the monitor, just using cheapie sticks so if the temps aren't working for you you could maybe try these?
