Great news Abis! :D I'm sure you'll do fine losing weight now that you have a goal to work towards! :)

Lovely pics time2deal, I'm useless at keeping plants alive so I enjoy looking at other people's success :) We're OK for now as our garden is a communal one so I don't have to worry about gardening -I did put a plant pot outside my door but the plants died and I'm now just growing weeds :o Not sure what I'll do when we move to a house with a garden that we have to work to keep looking nice! :p

Bit confused today as I did an OPK last night and this morning following on from the faint +ve yesterday morning and they were both negative so I suppose that would indicate that I've OV'd? I haven't noticed much EWCM though, but I haven't been drinking as much as I should recently so maybe I'm just having a 'dry' month? Didn't BD last night anyway as OH was being awkward and completely blanking my advances so I just gave up in a huff! Might try for a lunchtime quickie but not getting my hopes up. :o

Hello ladies, i used to post here a long time ago. sorry for jumping into the thread am just in a bit of shock and not sure else where to post.

OH & I have been TTC for 2 years with nothing what so ever. This week 2 weeks after my period i started bleeding, just light pink when wipe and a little bit cramping... its never happened before at this stage in the cycle. Its been upsetting and was crying at work yesterday thinking it was never going to happen. (idiot i know!) Got an appt with the nurse today to see what this bleeding is all about and when i woke up thought i would just do a pg test, and its come back with 2 pink lines....... !!! I am refusing to believe the test and going to get clearblue digi today. Its an old strip anyway, was bought years ago and due to expire in December this year! :rotfl:We are due to start assisted conception next month.

WTH!! is it possible i could be pg? and what is this bleeding all about. its been going on for seven days now. could it be mc? :(
apologies again for the rant ladies, just needed to get this out somewhere. thank you

    Jen xx

ETA: meant to say, AF is not due until start of next month so why the heck is the pg strip showing up positive just now. oh dear think i just realised am definately not pg. will post back and let you know how things go xx

    Jen,

Some women get breakthrough bleeds and also spotting in early pregnancy is very common.

I would do a digi to be sure. If you were pregnant then it should show up as 2-3 weeks or 3 weeks + and on any test lines you should get a positive result very quickly.

If it were me I'd do a digi before going to the nurse, just to set my mind at rest. You won't need FMU, so go buy one now :D

Don't forget to let us know how you get on. Fingers crossed for you :A

One of our other ladies (was it countrybum?) got a BFP just before starting IVF so its not impossible :D

Sammy85 - Not sure on TTC while breastfeeding, but didn't want you to think we were all ignoring you! I guess if your periods have come back there is a good chance, but maybe your body is just needing a little more recovery time as is preventing the pregnancy while it recovers.

You must be very brave to be comtemplating another if your LO is still up in the night

Definately Blonde - Fingers crossed for testing xx My first thing that altered was my sense of taste and smell. I had a coffee at 10dpo and spat it out cos it tasted of cigarettes.

Claire16c - Not everyone gets morning sickness, so try not to worry about that. And besides - the tiredness is farrrrrr worse than the sickness :rotfl: You just have to take each pregnancy as it comes and deal with it then. With my first I worked full time and used to go home and have a nap for an hour or 2 when I got in. Last time I was so sickly and tired and ill I had to tell people before the 12 week mark as it would have been completely obvious. In hindsight it was good telling people, as I had a lot of support when it did go wrong. Anyways, what I'm trying to say is don't worry - everything will work out fine. Bosses are fine with pregnancy (they have to be for discrimination purposes, but also if they are good to you during pregnancy you are much more likely to go back after maternity leave etc).

Time2deal - Fab garden piccies :D I like the lily best. I'm not an especially good gardener. I do try, but a lot of the plants I buy seem to end up dead :o I have put a few in the garden this year, but not many are hanging in there :rotfl: To be fair to myself tho, the weather we have had hasn't helped! The garden was a bit flooded only a couple of weeks ago, and now its so scorching hot I can't keep the flowers watered enough. Stoopid british weather :rotfl:

Birdie - I'm not over good with OPKs so can't help there I'm afraid. Good luck with mission: lunchtime BD. My DH works 60 miles away so it was never an option for us :rotfl:

AFM - Trying to work out how I will diet this summer! We are away this weekend, and then holiday in a week and a half etc. Think I am just going to try and cut down where possible when not away, and exercise more. Thinking of going swimming after work with DD today

Hi everyone, not been on here during 2ww as I'm trying to forget about 'waiting' so congratulations and hugs to anyone whose had good or bad times in last 2 weeks.

AF is due today or tomorrow, and I'm SS (possibly need a slap!) Sorry if following is tmi! But me and hubby BD last night and in certain positions it felt really uncomfortable like something was 'different' inside...also I seem to be more veiny then usual around outside edge of nipples....

That said I'm sure this time tomorrow I'll be sulking as AF will have arrived!

I hope AF stays away Loulou! :)

Mission: Lunchtime BD complete! ;) Now trying to fix my hair at my desk so it doesn't look like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards! :rotfl:

    Hi girls:wave:
Some of you may know my DH is a once a week BD man:cool:

We BD'd last Tuesday, today is Wednesday. Is he going to wait until the weekend? I'm 11DPO, and I will probably get AF on Sun. Should I tell him or shall I just forget it?:D It's not like I'm oving or anything:p

atton, (((hugs))). You will find a photographer and you will find someone to do your hair:o
You are feeling anxious because of your 2ww hormones:o
    codemonkey, (((hugs))). :rotfl: at puppet:o

Your bleeding could be a breakthrough bleeding?
    Get a digi!
Loulou, fingers crossed AF won't come:)
Birdie, do you think you ov'd?
    Well done on lunchtime BD:D
  • My husband is lovely.

Last night as we were walking home from the station, he turned to me and said "you're due on Monday, aren't you? Will you test Monday or Sunday? Your temperature dipped quite a bit yesterday (Monday) which might be a good sign, right? We could do with some good news. And it would be nice to have a child a similar age to (our two friends)".

Bless him. He's only gone and installed the FF app on his phone so he can keep track himself :p

He's going to be gutted if it's not our turn this cycle. When we went to visit our friends' newborn baby, the first thing he said when we left was "I know she was being put down for the night, but I was really hoping for a cuddle". :rotfl:
