abis with regards to facebook, what we did last time is opened a group where the scan pictures and updates went - any friend could join. Friends who wanted to hear about it could and those who didn't weren't subjected to our constant baby talk.

This time we still haven't officially announced it although the news is now beginning to spread.

    Hi Kitten,

I hope you didn't mind me mentioning you before. How are you? Are you due soon? Do you know if baby is a boy or girl? From someone who has been there, I have everything crossed for you. Big hugs x

Abis - She is no friend. More of an (now ex) acquaintance. I try not associate with scrotters who, at the grand old age of 22, have managed to have 4 children with 4 different people, the oldest of which is 8 and called 'Jaxxi'. Why would you do that to a child?

Amus - Welcome :) I know you're supposed to be super fertile after a m/c so if you are ready to TTC straight away, good luck :) We are all here for support along the way.

Fanny - You're friend isn't superior and you are not rubbish! Let's get that PMA back up missy. :T:T

Hi everyone, I went on holiday for a few days for some sun but looks like only 1 bfp!?

I took my eyemask with me, totally forgot to put it on, but I didnt have to because the room was literally pitch black at night, Ive never slept anywhere so dark, Im not used to it living in surbubia with street lamps everywhere, it was almost a bit scary lol! It was great to sleep in the dark without a slightly annoying mask on though!

Well I'm actually really annoyed with myself because the website I'm buying park tickets from had a one-day 5% off sale on Sunday and I totally forgot to buy the bleeding things! Have to wait for the next sale (hopefully in about 3 months), luckily we've got plenty of time before we go!

We've also decided to sign up for the Disney Half Marathon which is on whilst we're there. 13 miles running/jogging/walking around all of the Disney parks at night ending up with a big party at Epcot. Sounds amazing but I've never run in my life! I need to start training! That's a massive bit of tempting fate, isn't it?! :p Also trying to find a way to get a night at the Hard Rock Hotel for less than £200! Really excited about it, OH's loads more excited this time too as he knows what he's getting excited about IYKWIM! :D BIL looked into booking to come with us but was put off by the cost- thank the Lord as I could think of nothing worse than spending 2 weeks with him and was horrified when OH mentioned what could have been!

Big hugs for you Abis, can't imagine what a crappy time you're having :( New hair sounds fab though! :)

Ooh that will be fun, My DH did the Disney Marathon a few years back. I was supposed to meet him at the finish line (it was in the morning), but the taxi I ordered didnt come on time and by the time it arrived there was no point in going, and the next thing I saw was him coming through the doors of the hotel! (I was then a very bad girlfriend and made him have his bath and get changed within about 30 mins because the last free shuttle to the park was coming :rotfl: )He limped round the park all day. But it was funny because lots of people had their medals on, and were all limping too!

You are very good to do a half marathon, I think Id have to train for about 18 months to do that lol!

Was actually quite an interesting week as there was a hold up at the bank near our hotel, a couple tried to rob it - and then took a staff member hostage . Luckily we had just got the bus to the park, and only found out about it on the way home - it was still going on, as the road was shut and we had to walk part of the way back to our hotel

But the poor people who were in the hotel right next door to the bank and hadnt left by the time the robbery/hostage taking started were trapped in their hotel all day. I said to DH at the time I would have been well annoyed loosing one day of my holiday! Anyway it ended with the guy robber being shot by the police as he tried to put the hostage in a car and drive off and the cops werent going to be having that..

Lilymay - glad to see you back on here! Jaxxi?? :rotfl:

Abis it was actually through the EPU but I guess it depends on if they have any funding for that, as I think theirs is shared with the assisted conception unit which is on the same ward x

I wonder if the molar nurse might have any details or if they have any funding for it. Mostly I feel OK with it, but I can't help but think that when the results do come back normal, that there is another bad spell to come as I know a lot of my energies/feelings are wound up with the molar aspect and too concentrated on that rather than losing the baby iyswim.

Oooooo, classy bird hey?? I went through a deleting session a while ago and ditched over 100 'friends' on facebook. Some of the drama queens on there were managing to wind me up with their chavvy statuses! So I now have a drama queen free zone on facebook :D Tis a much nicer place without all the drama queens on there. And also the people who befriended you from school, and then still didn't acknowledge you in the street?? They all went too. :p It was quite theraputic in the end. :rotfl:

Not only has the latest fertile put her scan photos on facebook, but she's also posting photos of the baby clothes and shoes, moaning all the time about being pregnant, whilst the scan photos I really want to see from my friend (who isn't posting on facebook about her pregnancy) haven't sent.

    I'm 5dpo. Nothing to report.

Oh my word, I was on the train home tonight and there was a chavvy guy on there with his daughter - she was maybe 4 or 5. He was totally ignoring her, engrossed in his phone, and she was running up and down the train and as it was one of those ones with the door that closes over, I was terrified she was going to get trapped in it or something. And it was really annoying. Then I noticed she had 4 packs of open sweets. I'm not saying I'm going to be the perfect parent or anything, but it wasn't like she was tired, or upset , she was bored, hyped on sugar and running about and he should have been doing something other than updating his facebook surely?

My favourite is one that my nurse friend told me about one of her colleagues patients who was asked what she planned to call her baby. The girl said that she'd heard a really pretty name and was definitely calling her baby it. When asked what the name was she answered "Chlamydia". I'm not sure if that's an urban myth though as i've heard it from a few people. As if that's not bad enough there are loads of posh girls named Candida.

    Man, I am so ANGRY.

I just tried to do a second digi OPK (tried to do 1 at 3pm) , and instead of giving me an answer...it started flashing and then came up with the book symbol...ON 3 TESTS. I thought maybe I'd done something wrong but no, the fhecking thing is just broken. They're like £2 a test and I've wasted 3 of them, plus I may have missed my smiley face this month.

I need to phone the helpline tomorrow and complain. I'm equally annoyed because I just tried to do a IC OPK..but instead of an OPK, I pulled out of pregnancy test (virtually identical packaging). I only realised when I only got 1 line on the test and got all worried.

    AHHHHHH!!!

    Hello
I hope you don't mind me joining in and asking for your advice.
I've been TTC for a few months now and every month AF arrives on time but this month im 2 days late. I dont feel like AF is going to arrive very soon. So i got a clear blue digital and done it when i got home from work tonight, it showed not pregnant. I'm trying not to SS but i have got really sore/heavy ladies at the mo but that is about it. Is it best to do another test with morning wee or would it have been correct?
    Sorry for butting in.
    xx

No need to apologise at all!

As you say you are already 2 days late (how many DPO are you?), I would guess that a digi done with any weewee would be correct. Still, it wouldn't hurt to do one tomorrow with FMU if you've got a test in the house.

    Fingers crossed :)

In that case I would wait another couple of days, maybe until Mon or Tue next week, and if AF still hasn't arrived do another test.

You may have ov'ed a lot later in your cycle and if you are pregnant, you might not get a + test until 14DPO :o
