    Hi everyone,
Just received my ovulation test, what cycle day do you think I should start testing from? My phone app says I'll be ovulating on cd16 but I'm not convinced this is reliable!

Hey QQ, just delurking again to ask you to move me to CD1 again please, as of this morning!!! :p

So I had a 46 day cycle this time, one day less than last month so still going down even if it is slowly. I might get a 28 dayer by the time I retire!!!! :rotfl:

I'm hoping that the next cycle is a similar lenght or less - if its any longer then it might appear the week we are in NYC for the wedding, which would not make me a happy bunny!!! Stay away!! (or just become a bean instead!!!!!) ;)

Maire - I can see a second line :j Let us know how you get on with a test tomorrow morning!

Squirrel and codemonkey- hugs for CD1

TTC40 - great news about getting the laparoscopy booked, and on the insurance. Hope you won't have to take too much time off work. I've heard you can be super fertile after a lap. so hope this will be the case for you! :)

codemonkey I'm trying lunaception this month. I'm sleeping with an eye mask until CD14 and then I'll have three nights without it. Some nights it doesn't stay on all night (no idea at what point it falls off!) and the nights it does stay on I find it really hard to wake up/get up in the morning! But hope it will make my cycles a bit shorter.

Elsie - how long are your cycles usually? If you think you'll be ovulating from CD16 then I'd start testing a few days before then.

Does anybody want a free digi test? I spoke to somebody from Clear Blue today about the pregnancy test trial - basically they send you a free clear blue digi test (with conception indicator). They ask a few questions on the phone and you have to fill in a form and send it back to let them know the test result. Not as exciting as the CBFM trial, but it's a free digi test and you don't have to keep wee in the fridge!! If you go on the clear blue website (http://www.clearblue.com/uk/) there is a link on the home page, just click through and fill out the form, somebody called me the next morning.

    Cd1.

So this lunaception thing - I just wear a mask til cd13 then sleep without for 3 days then put the mask back on again? I'm not sure I sleep very well with it on, but willing to try anything to avoid 40 day cycles.

Yes - although you might need to go for a bit longer than 3 days. I think last time I took it off on day 13, and kept it off, and ovulated on day 19. Then put it back on.

You should also try to either get out in the sun or daylight on those days, and/or put a light on near to you when you wake up - although I dont have time to do that.

This cycle my eye mask kept falling off which is why I dont think it worked as well as Ive ovulated on day 25. However, thats still good for me so Im happy!

I guess if you dont ov you can either keep the mask off until you do, or put it back on for say 3-4 days, and then take it off again and see if it works.

I find one thing thats really good is the sun doesnt wake me up, and when my DH gets up a 5.30am I dont tend to get disturbed and find it much easier to go back to sleep if I do.

The only thing that annoys me is sometimes the strings dig into my ears and it can sometimes be a relief when its time to take it off!

Ugh, I give up. I can't sleep with that thing on my face! No matter what position I tried, it just put pressure on my eyes and now I have a headache.

    Good morning:wave:

    9DPO:o I'm due to test at 12DPO.
    This 1ww is looooong:(
I'm bored at looking at baby stuff online, not much fun since I don't have a baby. Too unrealistic zzzzzzz....

I've been TTCing far too long, I know all my SS (none resulted in pregnancy:o).

Maire, have you tested? Can we call it a BFP?
    Rebekah, hi there:D:wave:
    becca, (((hugs))) for long cycle:(
TTC40, yay for the lap op on Tuesday:j
VIP room then:D You deserve it:cool:
Elsie, most people start testing from about CD6, but if you know you'll be oving later, then CD9?
    Sq1rrels, (((hugs))) for AF:(
    smiley_hug.gif
Fingers crossed the next cycle is the one:)
claire & codemonkey, I don't put the strings on my ear, as my ears are sensitive:p And sometimes the mask did fall off, but I think it worked for me, so will try again if this cycle fails:)

Remember, you can just put things on the window to block out the outside light instead of the mask:cool:

I find eyemasks annoying and a bit cloying, dont know how people sleep with it on normally.

I had a dream in which I was pregnant, and kept seeing those two lines on a test -can't wait for that day, think I will have to pinch myself!

Got annoyed with DH yesterday as he left it til I was really tired to do our first ov period BD, and I wasnt really feeling it. I asked him to initiate ov BDs as I do enough throughout the cycle, inc getting stuck with needles! Oh well, as long as the job got done! 3 more business BDs then back to normal enjoyable BDs <phew>

On a technical note - we used the conceive plus yesterday, with the syringe (I used a 1ml one) it was pretty easy to apply - it was funny having to run back to bed before it spilled out, but I dont think it would have happened that quickly as it is quite thick. I used about 0.25-0.5ml, will prob stick with 0.5ml for the next few uses. I thought it would be too slippery as I do tend to get (sorry tmi) enough there during BD but this much was fine. Lets see if it gives DH swimmers a boost, Ive read good things about this stuff, fx
We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic. ;)

    Debt at LBM (Sep 07): £13,500. Current debt: [STRIKE]£680[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£480[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£560[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£13[/STRIKE] £0 overdraft :D
Current aims - to start building up savings
    1st £1000 in 100 days - £1178.03 :D 2nd £1053.38/£1000 :D 3rd £863.59/£1000 :o

    morning ladies :j

TTC40 - FWIW, for my first lap (diagnostic only) I was off for about a week. The others have been 3-4 weeks recovery after each one. Hope it all goes ok and you're fighting fit again soon x.
QQ - fingers still crossed for monday. Have you got much planned over the weekend to distract you?
    maire - any news??
mogwai - hope the conceive plus does the trick.

AFM, thought I had a teeny bit of EWCm the other day but nothing much and still no temp rise. Gonna try and stick to BD at least every other day till FF says I've ov'd.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend - looks like the rain is back again here.
