Flee, massive hugs for AF:(
Do you think it may have been a chemical?
Enjoy your treadmill:) Was it very expensive?
Euro, hugs for AF to you too:o
Glad you had a great time though, free wine:beer:
Tea lover, (((Hugs))) re relocation:(
Good luck with the global challenge. Do you get something like a pedometer? Fitbug?
countrybum, when will you tell your family that you are pg?
lilymay, sounds like you may get Peak CBFM tomorrow?
Good luck with the paving:)
Abis, where's that pic of your jubilee DD?
mrsj28, (((hugs))) for AF:(
I don't know what to say re PCOS, I didn't go in for that, I went in for infertility:o
But what TeamLowe said sounds brilliant. Irregular cycles, spots, hair and excess weight usually points to PCOS:o
TeamLowe, (((hugs))) for painful AF, and :rotfl: at the sympathetic shop assistant:D0 -
thanks for all the congratulations
lets hope its a sticky

Well I am out for this month, due to OV this weekend, but got tonsillitis and am on huge does of anti-bs so this month will have to be left to play out. Oh well, LO was ill all last weekend and is very happily better now, so I am happy regardless.

Just back from docs - saw the NICEST GP ever! I very rarely go to the doctor so was really nervous. Anyway, told her I would like to get tested for PCOS and explained why and she has given me the referral thing for day 21 blood test, so that'll be in 3 weeks time.
I feel very relieved, I was expecting her to tell me to come back after we've been trying for a year, but she said I have all the symptoms apart from excess weight so she's happy for me to get checked out.
Fingers crossed there won't be a problem and I am just abnormally spotty and hairy for other reasons.... but I'm pleased to be getting the tests done.0 -
Hello ladies
I'm back from our mini moon. Loving being a Mrs!
Here's a sneeky photo for you all, I'm off to catch up!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Hello there
((((Big Hugs)))) to Flee, MrsJ28, TeamLowe and Euro for AF.
Think I may be joining you shortly as I've got horrid cramps and feeling annoyed with everything. Just got home so I'm going to make a cuppa and have another biscuit and feel sorry for myself. I've been feeling really rubbish at the moment - It feels like forever and ever ago since last June when we started trying and I know alot has happened, but here we are a year later, and still no baby. I've been pregnant twice this year and it just doesnt mean anything - we end up back where we started. Sorry for the moan - I know lots are dealing with much worse I'm just feeling really !!!!
Oh well.
Glad your appointment went well QQ, will be thinking of you for Monday, how much possibility is there with a medicated cycle for your hormone levels to be outside the ideal? Are they normally accurate or is it just a better chance? sorry if its a silly question - I don't know too much about IVF medicine.
Glad your doctor was good MrsJ28 - it makes a real difference when you see someone whose actually willing to listen.
Lily - Hope you're feeling better soon, maybe if the CBFM doesnt give you the answers you want this weekend it might be an idea to put id down and give yourself a break until AF arrives, then you can start a lovely fresh cycle with no illness or stress and have a better idea of whats going on. Like QQ said - you have a beautiful baby boy - this will happen again for you it just takes a little bit of time. I read somewhere that even if you do everything right and BD at *exactly* the right time there's still only a 1 in 4 or 5 chance of conceiving - its such a fragile process.0 -
Ohhh - Beautiful photo Becca - you both look so happy
Massive congratulations :T:T:T

Becca - You look beautiful! Your dress is gorgeous
Melon & everyone else - Thank you for all the lovely kind words and thank you for putting up with my moaning! I am going to stop complaining, i promise. I stopped with the CBFM after I got 2 peaks but did one today just to see where things were at and it said 'low'. Should the 2nd line stay after ovulation or should it disappear? My CM seems to have dried up a little but, but I am not 'dry' yet.
MrsJ - That is great news about your GP. Lets hope you get some answers and some good treatment!
QQ - Can you put me on the testing list for 18th June please14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -
congrats countrybum
i was pregnant but i lost it but the good news is that i am getting closer so fingers crossed it will be soon0 -
Claire16c - glad lunaception is working for you. I'm going to start it as soon as AF arrives. Have you been watching Neighbours (stupid question I think :rotfl:) Can't believe Sonya is pregnant before me!!!! We've been trying for the same amount of time so it is DEFINITELY my turn next
Haha yep been watching it since I was 3 so no stopping now lol! I know! So not fair :rotfl:I so totally did not shed a tear at that episode!went to morrison's this morning on my way to work. you know when the things you buy are too light and the machine doesn't recognise it and the assistant has to come over? thank lord it was a lady, i had tampons, paracetamol, ibuprofen and chocolate. she gave me a very sympathetic look :rotfl:
Ugh morrisons are the worst for that, I never have the same problem anywhere else. I cant stand that shop in the first place, so its just something else to add to the list of things it does to annoy me, I really should stop going in there but theres one close to our house so unfortunately I have to sometimes if weve run out of something! Thanks Team Lowe, that's really helpful - it was me who asked about the PCOS appointment. I have plenty of extra body hair (gross) and I do get spots quite often, and longish cycles, so hopefully they'll refer me to be tested.
((hugs)) for your horrible AF - and for the experience at the self service tills! The 'save to buy' account is exciting and it's really nice to have something to save up for (like a house!)
On the excess body hair note (again, gross..) I have just bought a voucher on groupon for laser hair removal! It was a real bargain, AND you can't have it done if you are pregnant, so I'm hoping that fate is listening..
Well, after whinging about long cycles, it turns out that today is CD1 for me! This is the first time since ttc I've been pleased to see AF, because it means last month's cycle was only 31 days! :j Ready for the new cycle now after taking a break last month. My plan of action this month is:
1. Get tested for PCOS
2. Eat healthy - low carb and sugar, high protein.
3. Give lunaception a go
I'm in two minds about whether to temp or not, as it means ttc is the first thing I think about when I wake up! But, it does mean I know when (if) I OV which is very helpful. We'll see. I might just temp from e.g. CD8 until just after OV.
It's Friday! Hope everybody has nice plans for the weekend xx
I like temping because it stops me wondering!0
