    Hi everyone,
    back from hols.
Grats Countrybum and a big WOW to the brides you look beautiful. Welcome to all the new people on here.
DPO 14 here and expected AF anyday since yesterday, feeling no different apart from the swollen girls since monday, but I had that last month. So don't feel need for testing just yet. But am out shopping later for cake making stuffs, so might sneak a test in. Cycles been 25-27 so far and 26 today.
Hope everyone has had something good happen to them this week.
    Good vibes

Hello and welcome Elsie. I understand about the curse of irregular cycles. You need to ignore all the cd14 nonsense and look for ov using either cm, temping or opks. Your luteal phase will be about the same every month. Sadly its not an exact science

    Congratulations countrybum.

AFM - just did my 14dpo/10dpo test and its a BFN. Will continue til AF or test again on Wednesday when I may be 14dpo if I ovulated later. Sigh. Thankfully I have a big bar of chocolate.

  • Mrsj I saw that groupon voucher and thought about it but decided the new car we bought last month (and the loan that goes with it) was tempting fate enough!! Can you let me know how the laser removal goes as I am really interested but it is a lot of money and would love a real opinion. Yeah for the 31 day cycle.

Becca, TeamLowe and Birdie85 you all look beautiful.

Abis – I love your motorhome, I would like one but OH is not keen. Do you use it a lot?

Welcome Elsie37, I hope you stay is short and sweet. Since I came off the pill my cycles have ranged from 28 days to 45 days and this month was only 18 days (although I think this could just be my body settling down after the mc). I know what you mean about not being able to pinpoint ovulation, my OH doesn’t want to go down the route of temping or ovulation sticks so it makes it difficult.

I am so fed up of not being pregnant, I work for a large firm and there is always someone pregnant but at the moment everyone seems to be pregnant except me!

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend, SBDTA :)

    Good morning:wave:

Leopardlady, sorry to hear you and your LO were ill:(
Hope your tonsillitis will clear soon:o
mrsj28, glad you had a good doctor, fingers crossed it's not PCOS:)
    becca, welcome back:wave:
You look gorgeous and the dress is fantastic:T
lemonmelon, (((hugs))). It'll be third time lucky when you get pg this time:)
As for my hormones, it is normally perfect unless I forget to take the pills.
There's another worry in that the frozen embryo has only 90% thawing success rate. 10% failure rate:(
Oh, and there's that 60% pg rate as well.....
lilymay, for some, the 2nd line lingers, while for others it disappears straight away. There's no right or wrong:o
Looks like we are cycle buddies:beer:
TeamLowe, you look beautiful in your wedding pic:)
    And I love your niece's blankie:T
Birdie, that's an amazing photos, you were very lucky to have a beach near you and perfect weather:cool:
mogwai, they say when your LH is higher than your FSH, you may have PCOS. LH is so similar to hcg (pg hormone), the body can be fooled into thinking that one is pg, and ov gets delayed.
Way to lower LH is to cut down on sugar and carbs:o
    Elsie37, welcome:wave:
My cycles are all over the place too, but I temp and do OPKs. Do you get ewcm? I usually start OPKs when I see that:)
good vibes, welcome back:wave: Any holiday pics?
Are you going to test tomorrow?:)

Definitely blonde I will let you know how the laser goes! I'm getting my bikini line done and if that goes well will invest in getting legs done too. I agree with you in that there's only so much tempting fate we should do!! Otherwise WHEN we all have our babies we'll have no money at all and will be cancelling holidays/sky dives/year's supply of wine and pâte! etc etc!!! :D

Hope all have a good weekend x :)

    Hey ladies

Here is piccie of DD all union jack'd up :j:j

    P1090677.jpg

Thanks for the comments about the jubilee motorhome  Its DH's pride and joy. Its more money than I could ever imagine spending on anything, but then I'm the one with debts not him :o But having said that we do use it quite a lot. We did 4 nights last week, 1 night the week before. Nothing planned in at the moment, but will probably do another 1 night before the end of the month. We use it for our main holidays too, and at christmas we park it outside MIL's and plug it in to their electric and use it as extra bedroom space as otherwise we wouldn't be able to go there and fit everyone in. It is a lovely relaxing way to spend a weekend. We deliberately don't have a telly in there so that we can spend the time out and about, or reading, playing games, talking etc. Think the telly (and laptop) go on far too easily at home and we end up spending a lot of our evenings / weekends at home not doing all that much if we're not too careful.

There are bunkbeds in the back of our motorhome, so DD had her own disney princess 'bedroom' and there room for our next addition when we get our forever baby

Loving the wedding pics ladies :T:T Congratulations to Becca - you look absolutely beautiful. Where did you go for your minimoon?

Hugs for all the CD1 ladies. Hope the witch doesn't catch up with you again this year

Hugs also to Flee and Nikolacarter. Hope you are both ok.

Elsie - Welcome - hope your stay is short and sweet  I came off the pill in Oct last year and my periods were all over the place. Anywhere from 31-43 days. Most frustrating  I started temping using a BBT thermometer (only £5 or so from amazon). If you take your temp at roughly the same time every morning, before you wake up 'properly', then you will start to see a pattern in your cycles. It was actually really fascinating for me to see it actually worked! You get a rise in temperature once you have ovulated. On the first month of using it I got my BFP but unfortunately it wasn't meant to be for me, so I'm back with you ladies again. When people started talking about checking cervical mucus and cervix position at first I was like ewwwwwwww - no chance! After a couple of months more tho I was well up for it - and also liking to discuss my findings on the board! Theres no other place you can start a conversation with - yayyyy - EWCM - best go persuade DH to BD ;):p:cool: I didn't get on with OPK's, mainly due to my cycles being so unpredictable and long that I didn't want to waste more money in testing loads more, so I never even got a +ve result on one of those. For some people tho it suits them better than temping if they have shift work or unpredictable waking hours. Keep posting if you have any questions and wish to discuss any CM findings :p :rotfl:

AFM - sent my pee test off again yesterday. Had a bad day yesterday again. Seem to be taking things out on my poor DH when I have a bad day which then makes me feel worse :o:cry: Results due in on weds pm and I have convinced myself it will be a rise when I need a fall in levels :o Am still very positive on a pregnancy test, 4 weeks after ERPC. Its not going down to a TLP at all. Seems so so wrong wishing for a BFN. :o

Feeling a little brighter today tho after a big cry / talk with DH. And the sun is shining for a change which is always nice to see  And DD rang me last night as she is away with the ex MIL on hols, and I have had 2 phone calls so far :j Yesterdays was very well timed as I was ever so much struggling before hearing her cheery voice.

Have the ladies who have had losses seen this website? http://www.sayinggoodbye.org/ Theres some remembrance services around the country for our lost babies. I'm going to go to the one in York. Think it will be nice to have a 'service' as it were.

Hope everyone is ok and enjoying their weekend
 Married my lobster in July 2011

TTC # 2 since Oct 2011 - good things come to those who wait :o

 2013 is going to be our lucky year

Abis your DD looks so cute! What a great pic and I love all the union jack stuff - even the shoes are the right colour! The motorhome sounds brilliant, and it must be lovely having no tv or computer - we spend so much time staring at screens! In fact you have just inspired me and I told DH we are going to have a 'screen free' afternoon... he doesn't look too impressed but is going to finish watching the programme he's watching now, and I'll write this post and then... we'll see if we manage until the evening!

Big ((hugs)), glad you are feeling a bit brighter today, I'm sure it will be an up and down process for you and there will be good days and down days. Glad you have a lovely supportive DH and a gorgeous DD to be there for you. Hope the HCG levels will go down quickly and your tests will all be clear so that you can start ttc again. I'm sure your body is taking its time for good reason, though, and when it's the perfect time then your levels will go down and you will be all ready to carry your forever baby!

Elsie - welcome to the thread! Lots of good advice already from people about working out when you ovulate. I check my CM and take my temperature as I don't get on very well with OPKs. Feel free to ask any questions here and we will do our best to answer! Hope your stay will be short and sweet and you'll get a BFP very soon!

Ok, that's it, off the computer now for the rest of the afternoon............
