I've been resisting coming back, as I am trying not to get too obsessed by ttc malarky, particuarly as we have had problems on that score in the past, but just find I spend lots of time googling related sites instead.
Sadly, our little bean didn't make it past 6 weeks. We had a miserable time last weekend and it was confirmed by a scan on Monday of last week that it was all over. I was initially going to have an ERPC but at the last minute opted for natural management and the bleeding stopped on Wednesday last week.
We have decided to try again, though OP wants to put a time limit on the attempt, partly because we are getting older and he doesnt want to be working to support a university aged child in his mid seventies, and partly because we have spent a lot of our married life trying to conceive and it is bloody stressful sometimes!
So, I have 6 months to get another BFP and taking the first day of bleeding from the miscarriage as CD1 I am now on CD11. I have been taking zinc, vitamin B, my prenatal vitamin, omegas and vitamin C every day for a week and started on the robuttissin yesterday. I've also been using ov tests for a week but still negative and my CP and CM don't seem right yet for ov. I have heard though that you may ovulate late or not at all following a loss and it may take a while to come back, but also paradoxically that you are most fertile in the 3 months following, so I hope I am in the latter camp. We have also been SMEPing as it worked well for skintchick, but unfortunately DH worked late last night and didn't get home until 4.30 am so have already fallen off that wagon. We will pick it up tonight though and hope that an extra day's rest before ov doesn't sabotage the whole idea.
Hi Honey.
I have lost two beans not meant for this earth both at 6 weeks - One in a MMC in Jan 2010 & one just a few weeks ago Aug 2011 but I did have DD2 in Nov 10 so keep the faith my dear.
I have no idea if or when I ov'd this month using CD1 as MC date but I am keeping everything crossed and using dates from that.

Perhaps I should start reading Mills & Boon! :rotfl:
Wow, 2 stone? That's brilliant! :T
I struggle with this too! Yea read the books. Buy kinky outfits. Get oils ready-candles-board games and alsorts. Just to try and make it more fun. Variety ... variety ... variety.0 -
Hi Tinkwings
Sorry you are going through the same thing at the same time. Hope you are doing ok. It makes a huge difference having a little one to look after I am finding. After my first miscarriage (first pregnancy) I was distraught for at least a year, and needed two weeks off work in the immediate aftermath just to get back to minimal functioning. This time round I've had to get on with things for my litle man's sake and I have found him a huge comfort when feeling low.0 -
