  • Oh dear.... I think now I am on this thread I'm getting ever so slightly obessed.

I am sat in the conservatory (allegedly trying to get some work done whilst having quick sneaky peeks on here!) while OH is sat watching TV in the living room.

I have just heard on the TV "blah blah blah make sure the egg is in the right position etc etc" and have just ran through and got a bit over excited because I thought OH was watching a programme about conceiving only for him to laugh at me because he's just watching a completely innocent programme on baking!! :rotfl:

Shows what I have on my mind permanently!!! :D

    hi everyone

((hugs)) 2ba3c, it's rubbish waiting for ov isn't it? I know how you feel! I'm sure we'll both ov soon :o

So, CD22 (i think) and no ov... had a bit of ewcm yesterday which got me all excited but I still haven't had a +ve OPK and the ewcm has disappeared again :( Been glugging cough syrup but to no avail. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Need to up the BDing a bit, we've been lax the past few days (doesn't help that our lodger moved in yesterday so feels a bit weird!)

Oh nicki I'm so sorry :( I hope that you and your OH get another BFP really quickly.

Welcome esio trot! Hope your #2 comes soon! :)
Also welcome squ1rrel, and anyone else who's snuck in - hope you're not here very long! ;)

Jovi - I think our bodies do weird things when TTC just to drive us insane! Hope yours sorts itself out quickly!

Just popping in to say hello and welcome to those who have just joined the thread?

Nikki, I'm really sorry to hear your news. I hope that you will get another BFP soon.

I have decided that I'm counting 1st September as my CD1. I'm not 100% that's right but I want to start using my OPK's and needed to give myself some idea of when to start with them. Anyway, going by my average length of cycle last time I was off the pill I can start using the OPK's on Friday. Is it incredibly sad that I'm really looking forward to peeing in a cup? :rotfl:

I have three days left at work until I break up for my holiday (conceptionmoon!) and we go away on Tuesday. I can't wait to finish work, I'm sick of it at the moment. I really hope I don't have to wait too long for a BPF as the thought of going off on maternity leave is lovely!

    Hi ladies

THought I'd sneak back in, because in the interests of science I have been POAS today. Obviously this is nothing to do with my obsession with sticks, and all about you, my lovely ladies. :D

So. this time last week I used:
    Asda cheapie (3 for £1.50) - - - very very faint line
    Tesco digi - - - Not pregnant
    CB digi - - - Pregnant 1-2 weeks

    Today I used:
Asda cheapie - - - very dark line, came up within ten seconds
Tesco digi - - - Pregnant, came up in less than a minute

So. The conclusion is that the Asda cheapies are sensitive enough to pick up the hormone up to a week before AF (my cycle is 30-34 days) but that they will give a much darker line once AF is actually missed. Tesco digis are not very sensitive so will disappoint if used before AF and may give a false negative. CB digis are sensitive and totally rock!

Thought this info might help someone. :)

Back ... just trawling the 20+ pages! I had egg white last Wednesday and that was the last day so *think* I ovulated then rather than Tuesday. Ditched the thermometer so won't pick that up again til the witch shows. That said ... I had a fair amount of spotting this morning! I never have that mid/post mid cycle. So hoping its a conception moon!! So I am *guessing* to be at 6/7 dpo.
